In the summer of 2004 , the marines invaded falluja. I remember that ridiculous hell like it was yesterday. 10 years will go by very quick my friend.

anyone holding over 10 bitcoin today will probably have 1 million USD (in today's purchasing power) in 10-20 years. most of the fiat pundits who mock bitcoin today will be eating their hat when the USD finally implodes. be glad you are lucky enough to be here in this moment in time when bitcoin is first invented, it will be quite a story to tell...
His name was Robert Paulson Was kind of just murmuring the same thing to myself after reading that...lol.. Don't think BTC will ever replace the USD...but truly running along side of it as a better version of the USD, would be just as amazing.

there is simply no way bitcoin will not replace fiat. all fiat currencies are in the final years of their lifetime and are being printed to oblivion, the world fiat experiment is about to end in failure any year now. if bitcoin didn't exist i would say the world would go back to gold, but bitcoin beats gold in every way:
bitcoin is more easily divisible than gold - bitcoin divides down to a unit of 10^-8 bitcoin, try that with gold. bitcoin is more durable than gold - gold coins can be damaged, gold can be confiscated by force. bitcoin is more portable than gold - you can instantly send your bitcoins anywhere in the world for next to nothing, transporting gold is alot more complicated. bitcoin is more fungible than gold - there are no fake bitcoins, verifying gold authenticity requires special equipment. bitcoin maintains its purchasing power - bitcoins mining is predictable and limited, gold mining isn't as predictable, this means bitcoin has less supply side fluctuations than gold.
for 5000 years the free market has selected gold as money. this is the first time in history humanity has something better, most of the world is not aware of this fact yet but they are starting to wake up. anyone who jumps on the bitcoin train right now will be filthy rich when the masses start arriving.

Its rly rly rly fcn long time in bitcoin world. Hence the phrase HODL!!.. HODL men and women, HODL. We live a lot longer than 10-20 years. With any luck(i'm 28) I'll own a golf course by 38 due to my holdings in BTC. I plan to never retire.. that's boring. Even if BTC utterly collapses and I go to plan B I'll go to a stress free job at 60 till I die.

But i cant buy any btc so my plan is starting from sending an .1 btc to cold storage everymonth till it rises high enough.

I'm in my mid 40s so I feel I can't wait 10 years...I'll be old then Then the good news is that it will only take 5 years at most unless something catastrophic happens. 3 being more likely.
