Hello,
I'm new to BitCoins and I wanted to know if faucet pages are really worth the time?

From a financial standpoint, no absolutely not. You will earn far less then minimum wage.

From a standpoint that you can see how Bitcoin works, then maybe. There are other, better ways to see how Bitcoin works but faucets will at least give you a general idea.

I did faucets back in 2011 when the amounts given out at that time were much larger, sometimes even 0.001 BTC per day.  Considering most are only giving a few satoshi at a time it's not worth it considering you'll never be able to spend the dust online (you would have to swap it offline with current fee rates).

+1.
Not only the payment from faucets is very low, you would fill your wallet with dust inputs and that will cost you a lot in future payments.

Faucets should be used only for fun, the amount of bitcoins received is ridiculous, you should rent your signature to earn something.

Actually most new users don't know this.  If you get 0.00098765 in dust from 50 transactions you would need to pay a transaction fee of 0.001 or more currently.  It would be like getting 50 pennies and then having to write a cashier check for $0.50 - economically it doesn't make sense.  If you end up adding the dust to your main wallet when you empty your wallet you'll be loosing money (at least until fees come down).

Save your energy and just work for BTC.

Of course they're not worth the time if you're just looking to earn BTC. However, as the owner of DevFaucet (Since Closed) we believed it was more important to advertise to different markets in order to promote Bitcoin rather than giving people an opportunity to drain our wallets in exchange for ad hits.

Only if you find a new one and happen to be one of the first to send out your referal to others.

Other than that I wouldn't say so.

Earlier users have too much benefit from them just because of referrals and many peoples taking this benefit after this its not good enough because very few satoshis not working right now

I don't think you can even make that much off of referrals.

Faucets pay so little, even if you got 100 referrals and the faucet pays 10% of their earnings, and each referral earned 1000 satachi, you would only earn 10k satachi.

No.

Many faucet users don't realize they can spend their time on some other more productive things. They simply get too excited for FREE bitcoin.

Investing and dealing in bitcoin sell and buying is better then faucet but first check all fundamentals of this then jump in this field otherwise you will lost and very difficult to recover this

Alot do thou after spending a few hours entering the recaptha and realise you made 10p. Only real winner is the popular faucet owner, everyone else is just wasting their time.

But there's something much more productive you can be doing with your time. Faucets are honestly a big waste of time and energy and some of them are very frustrating as well. Not at all recommended unless you just want to have something more than zero.

Say you live in Uganda and get 0.01 $ per hour. Got the data from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_minimum_wages_by_country
If a faucet can give you 0.02$ per week if you do it one minute a day.  That's about 7 to 10 minutes for an hour work.
That majority of the people here likely get a higher salary  Smiley

Right, faucet owners can get a decent amount of money. They can never pay more than they earn and usually have a decent amount of traffic, around > 10.000 visitors a day.
If a faucet would get 0.1 btc per day and decide to give half (0.05 btc) to the people, then a person could get max 0.000005 btc per day. This gives you an idea where all the zeros comes from  Smiley
