Hello,
I'm new to BitCoins and I wanted to know if faucet pages are really worth the time?

no for you as a single, but if you find lot of referrals, than it can be a good passive income.

Absolutely not, IMHO.
If you really want to earn some bitcoin, try providing services and joining a signature program.

Not from my experience, half of the faucets I tried didn't even pay out  Cry

Think they are a waste of time.

If you are talking about the ponzi one, it is not surprising to end bad.
You could join the 777coin one (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654009.0), and the casino is quite old.

Most faucets will pay out, in my experience, however the amount they payout is just too little to make it worth it.

okay thanks, i checked out there and many pay per vote threads there Grin
just sell after get payment, too risky if hold coin with many people dump it everyday (voters)
but if that coin near listed in mintpal, i am sure hold it Grin

Faucets, as me and others said, aren't worth the time spent on them, but if someone wants to try, in this wesite
there's a list of about 80 faucets with different time rewards (30 minutes to 1 time only):

http://btcfaucetlist.robertattfield.com/

I never tried them, just googled a bit so I don't know if they are reliable.
These 80 faucets taking too much time and giving just very few satoshis which is really waste of time even for newbies

Faucets are fine when you're starting out with cryptocurrencies but you have to do the math.
How much are you making per hour? That's A.

How much could you earn doing something else? That's B.

If A > B (not likely) then by all means, keep doing it.
If A < B then do B. It pays better, you'll make the same amount of BTC in less time, so hey, free time! Warm up that console, go outside, whatever floats your boat. You earned it!

If B = 0 (that is, you can't think of anything else to do to make BTC), keep reading the forum. There's bound to be something else that gets you paid better than faucets.

TL;DR: usually, faucets are not worth the time, because their pay is very very little.
