Hi,

I've made new pool for Datacoin.

Resources:
http://datacoin.info/index.php?id=index
http://coinwik.org/Datacoin
https://www.facebook.com/datacoin

Info thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=325735.1360
Pool is designed for ATI GPUs and uses madmax's XPM miner (fastest primecoin miner available).

You can get miner here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=602292.0

New version 8.1 (TARGET 9) http://graymines.net/miners/dtcclient_v81.zip

Version 9.4.1 (added 2015-01-26): http://graymines.net/miners/datacoin/dtcclient_v9.4.1.zip

In miner's config.txt use:

NEW POOL (beta) dtc.graymines.net, port 4444, with new frontend, http://dtc.graymines.net

Pool will send coins to your datacoin address in 10 DTC packs, when they have "mature" status in network. With GPUs that will be faster than you think :-D

Sample miner working:

Work received: height=339420 diff=9.7432844 latency=32ms
GPU 0 found share: 7-ch type 2
GPU 0 found share: 8-ch type 2
Share accepted.
Share accepted.

Use on your own risk, but I made it to mine there myself and shared with great crypto community :-D

Good luck and have fun!

Marcus.

Well, I didnt have time to make few hours tests and count what both kernels can find.
But funny is 9-target kernel found some 10 and 11-ch shares too.
On first sight difference is in showing stats, 9-target reports speed for 9-difficulty. So its mess on pool, when all is mixed, but I'll work on it.

edit:

BTW, my fastest 270X kernel: http://1drv.ms/T8ft1Z

ok i'll try this kernel file tomorrow on my 270x cards.

can you make kernel for 7970/280x too?

I tried the latest kernel (recompiled for the 290x) and it seems to work rather well (more 8 and 9 chain than the other one)
My only problem, as posted on the other thread, is the temp of the card which is around 84°C
(won't post any cpd, as I am running on slimcoin at the same time, would be irrelevant)

DTC difficulty do not change much, but this pool earning reduce 30%, I guess pool owner adjust pool fee to 30% or higher.

No, its 30% just for you :-D

For rest of users fee is default hardcoded.

Update 2014-06-03:
Changed share payouts, so you dear users get good reward for finding 10-ch shares, so you are instant winners :-)

Ok, I see it. But why do this modification? 10ch is waste of computing power for DTC, 9ch
is more efficient. Encourage miner change to 10ch kernel.bin will reduce total pool findings.

No, I've used 9-ch kernels and they find 10 and even 11-chains. So its nice bonus :-D

What about r9 280x speed? my rig shows 4 cpd for r9 280x. Is it normal? I saw that eXtremal released a patch v4 and reaches 8 cpd for r9 290x. That means r9 280x can give ~6cpd (IMHO)... but when I replace kernel it shows errors... May be I'm noob...

I have 4.0-4.5 (on different clocks) with latest *.cl files from git. Cards are 280X, made by ASUS.

Pool has problem with writing to disk, I think I'll have to contact with my server provider -.-

update:
Downloading blocks again. Maybe that will help...

It will be when block is confirmed (DTC network has 3000 confirms AFAIR), then coins get "mature" status and can be paid.
