Volume is fine.. after a week of 400+ BTC days, were allowed to have a cool down day... same like 4 days ago (8th), not much volume so you could have complained about that but 3 days ago we took off... this is just the calm before the storm. You'll see!

Manipulate the buy/sell graph on Bittrex and you can get people to panic sell also......
about 20 buy orders of 1 coin will make the sells to out weigh the buys.....
Buy cheap .... pull the 20 x 1 coin orders.... set to sell... REPEAT

still haven't seen the breakaway logo i'm hoping for. 90% of those logos are too busy. look at any successful brand, simple, recognizable design wins every time. stop trying to import google search images of cloaks =p
i think the "C" logo is the best so far, but i'm not crazy about the font, and black and gold is already used for blackcoin, and black and white is used by other coins, digitalcoin comes to mind, maybe that with a different palette? what 2 colours suit this coin?

Announcement:
As promised, here is a status update, as well as some juicy bits of info that reveal future projects, two of which are pretty unique 
Work in Progress.
Exchange anon status: CloakSend 85% complete
Prototype version will be working Thursday 12th June 2014 at which point we will begin testing.
After that, it will be implemented directly into the Cloakcoin wallet client. So expect a wallet update combined with Exchange Anon on Friday 13th; right on schedule.
As CLOAK is added to more exchanges the anonymity / security and diminishing centralized effect will happen as we continue to refine the CloakSend service.
Buy and Sell cloak for BTC directly from your wallet: CloakTrade 75% complete
There are perhaps some practical reasons for being able to trade Cloak for BTC directly from your wallet, convenience being one of them.
CloakTrade will be something that evolves to feature market data and live feeds, we can potentially allow trading of other coins apart from CLOAK in future updates.
There are tabs being created, in wallet, for each major exchange that adds CLOAK. It will be secure and will be made open source (although we are debating whether to close source it in short term).
Launch time for CloakTrade is this weekend, early next week latest.
Projects that will happen after completion of CloakSend and CloakTrade.
These are the two things that were referred to earlier today, they will be the first of their kind to be built into an altcoin client.
1: Encrypted document sending. CloakDocs
The ability to send any document from one client to another, securely, safely and away from prying eyes. We will release a whitepaper on this next week.
2: Automated subscription payments. CloakPay
Websites that support payments in CLOAK, will be able to benefit from allowing users to enable subscription payments for any type of service, accepting CLOAK payment method.
The cloak wallet will log an address and make the payment for you, on the pre-designated date for as long as you set it up for; allowing you to get on with other things in life. Whitepaper also incoming for this one.
Other near term developments that we can confirm will happen:
3: Encrypted messaging. CloakTalk
Secure P2P messaging between CloakCoin clients. Keeping in the theme of encryption this will suit Cloak well.
4: Encrypted chatrooms. The CloakRoom
Similar to existing IRC chatrooms, we'll put a similar service right into the CLOAK client. The messages sent will be encrypted in your wallet allowing "Cloakers" everywhere accross the globe to speak to one and other, with higher levels of security.
There will be more projects; this is just the beginning as we enhance this coin, to the best of our teams ability.
The aim is to make CLOAK into the most versatile (Alt) CryptoCurrency to date.
We are open to ideas and suggestions for future projects but for now... perhaps we have enough to work on

I'm kinda hesitant to drop any more than 0.5btc on this, it sounds great and all, super awesome ideas, but absolutely nothing to show for it, at the moment its just all talk. I asked Polo a couple days ago why they wont add it and one of the mods said its cus they think its a shitcoin after reviewing the code, so idk... im not trying to be a FUDer here but u know.. i have my concerns. If it all happens and dev delivers then this coin is moon bound, but otherwise alot of ppl are gana be fkn mad.

I noticed the difficulty was up around 400 for a while and not many blocks were found. Then it dropped down to around 100 and it found quite a few blocks. I think it's a difficult process running a multipool and keeping people happy with electricity and hardware costs. For a short while I was mining scrypt with wemineall and I saw the payouts go from 0.01 BTC/day, down to 0.005 BTC/day, down to 0.0035 BTC/day. Then I jumped to x11 pools, then x13 - i.e. the miners attention is a moving target. If this multipool is going to thrive then it needs to be the best way to earn chunks of cloak, other coins need to start up and succeed, and cloak needs to become steadily more valuable. One suggestion would be to raise the coin transfer fee and supplement the payouts until the multipool takes off. |

Poloniex will list all the worst crap coins like ying yang, pig, DIEM, bones, air , hot lcl.. countless. Take your FUD elsewhere. |
