Just shy of $500,000 USD ... Pennystocks.

Tried to help hold up a 21 Million Dollar Marketcap ... blew thru me and I even tried to underaverage down but blew through me again ... and again.

Expensive lesson.

Nothing major, a few hundred dollars, but relatively speaking it was still a massive kick in the balls.

Sometimes an actual loss is hard to take, but its the missed opportunities that are the hardest for me to get over.

Missed opportunities where you were going to buy, but stopped, then you see the price sky rocket - or some speculatively low buy order, those are the ones that can literally wipe out your losses and see you in huge profits.

So there is already thread about "Your Highest Earning IN A Day " but what is your highest loss in day?

i mean i lost a lot when the price fluctuated like crazy, but why would one panic sell? noobs do that. it's how they get cleaned out. i knew a few idiots like that.

best is to store yo koins in cas silvers & golds. Wink

One Bitcoin. Really wasn't a loss, I guess. Bitcoin was around $250, so it wasn't much.

Not my highest loss but concurred a 150 loss streak and lost 2BTC yesterday :|

Dice games are far too risky for my liking. I've never had any decent lucky on them, they just bring disappointment - particularly if you attempt to up the stakes. I never gamble with any thing that I have paid for - just earned Bitcoins.

I've lost around 0.2 BTC to dice games, a far cry from some of the losses others have incurred.

I've had huge luck...
Won 60BTC
Won 14BTC
Won 8BTC

But the losses...list goes on for a while on losses lol

I'm still $400 up in the clear though

Wow that's nice, but if you're only $400 up then you must have lost almost all of it again :S

I'm still up on my initial investment, but that is dwindling with some of the pisstaking that is going on with alts.

I usually play with bitcoins I earn
I never play with money out of my bank account

Say I got cut off the internet right now, I would have $400 in profit from bitcoin gambling
The money I have lost was money I never had Wink

But it is money that you could have had, if only you had cashed out Tongue C'est la vie, as they say. It's hard to quit when you're doing well then run into a few losses.

3 BTC on just-dice.  That was my whole BTC stash at the time, was devastated Roll Eyes
Oh well, thankfully the BTC price was only like $300 at the time...  And I had never lost that much before in my life because I'm usually very careful xD

I lost about $1100 shorting bitcoin's price spike in early March. I had made much, much more shorting in February, so it was okay. But it hurt stopping out my position and taking the loss. This was around the $590 level.

You do well to stop and not go back to try earn your losses back.

I think that gambling to win back money lost through gambling is one of the silliest things, but it is a hard habit to break for those engrossed in the idea. I've lost about 0.2 on dice games but don't think I'll go back either...

If you do gamble, then do it in a reputable place.
