I understand you are angry. So am I as I was mining this coin too. Good, some senior members... I was getting tired of all the >30 post members chiming in with new accounts. xD Don't let him get to you. He made an assumption, in the confusion, and he will get over it. Water under the bridge... Source is being looked at, and will soon be available for playing with again. Block-chain code is being made available, to get more explorers up and running. Now we just need a new website, which does not ask for personal info, to get everything all organized... Then we can have the mods destroy this thread, and make a new one. Same on the other forum. We can deal with twitter and other media information later. I'm willing to help you a little if you takeover this coin.  Carlitos Coins... The last thing that this community needs it's your help... I see the help (robbery) you did in liberty coin... but, only but... if this community needs the most speedy threads deleter of all bitcointalk, you are the right person to do it... |

This happened with Libertycoin, Asiacoin and countless others in the past month. And now Honorcoin. It truly boggles my mind how noobs keep getting suckered into these scams and false promises. Unbelievable.
All whilst there are true gems out there on the market like XC still very cheap and the anonymous code is working and can be tested! With more features coming like encrypted messaging.

That could be the reason why Mintpal sent me 3 emails that someone with a IP from Germany was trying to get into my account! I have his IP..

I'd just like to remind people that 500+ accounts registered with Honorcoin, meaning there will definitely be more compromised accounts than we know of at this time. Be very careful of anyone claiming to want to 'restore' this coin. The scammers will still be holding a tons of coins they want to dump on you and, as there have been a few failed coins taken over recently, it seems to be the trend at the moment and ripe for the same scammers who fled the scene to be returning under false accounts to make it look like they are people in the same boat as you in order to convince you the coin still has a future. The coin's code was simply a cut and paste of Blackcoin's source apparently. It has been reported that they went to the lengths of removing all the BC references in it but missed one. There was nothings special about it at all so unless you have some skilled genius who wants to bring his groundbreaking innovations to a coin that has absolutely nothing but scam associated with it, which would be a weird choice to make, you'll probably be better off walking away from this scamcoin entirely. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=644517.msg7216968#msg7216968This guy's report about what happened to him shows what their intentions were. They were looking for exchange accounts they could get into, not to withdraw the funds, because that would trigger email confirmations and alerts, but to use whatever funds were on the account to buy into Honorcoin as high as possible to offload their stash. That is why there were still strange up and down movements in the value even while the scam was being exposed. Anyone who is still posting "cheep coinz for me!!!!1!1" types of comments is, in all likelihood, part of the scam and trying to get people who have already lost far too much already to believe that there is still a chance that their losses can be recovered by sticking with this coin even longer. The last thing any of you need right now is to find yourselves being ripped off yet again. When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. |
