Checked all suggested pools and none is working 10 min before the launch. No solo, no pool, no coins!

It doesn't launch until tomorrow.

Thanks for the info, just looked again after your post and I can see that it's postponed to tomorow. 30 min ago I left my work and I did not see the update on the first post of this thread.

So what is the innovation here? Leaguecoin made a tipbot approved by Riot. Any interesting stuff for the community or similar to a tipbot? Not that Blizz will approve something like that..

the limit hash is somethin new at least, and blizzard can't sued you for the word "minerals" come on...

No premine. I would like to mine this but not with your pools. Good luck.

you can mine in solo, if the limit hash will really work

unfortunately not

Quote
Solo mining?
In order to avoid potential ASICs and big farms from dominating the coin network there will be no solo mining.

i missed that, this is definitely stupid, i don't like it at all, why limit the hash if you can't solo... pointless

we will not be able to limit the hashrate if we allow solomining. Its x11 coin, few ASIC owners would mine the coin dry and dump it if solomining is available. Nobody wants that

No solo, limit to 50, so to be acceptable to 95% of gpu miners.

I would be glad to see it! Thanks for supporting us

Also, I've been getting several PMs asking if we need a translation to languages that are not listed in bounty list. Yes we do need all the translations that you feel would be helpful for the community. If you are native speaker of a language that is not listed in a bounty list we would be glad to accept your translation and send out a bounty for it. No google translates tho

I think the only way they can limit the hashrate is because they will control all the pools.
It makes sense. There is no "hashrate" after all. Just amount of blocks found in any given time thoughout the network

But pools have shares that you submit to them, which are a way for them to estimate your hash rate.
So if everyone has to mine through the pools, they can limit the acceptance of shares from any worker

All the pool sites are down. Is there no pre-reg to make sure all admin is done before hand? Also, how do we know there will be no postponement and that everything goes ahead at 15:00 GMT 11 June?

you builds the limit in the client? like having the local hash limited to 50, dunno if this is possible

Patch to stratum makes it capable of limiting hashrate. At least it is the solution that we are able to develop and it works right now on a test pool

Wait, no source, no wallet, no 3rd party reputable pools - how do we know that we're mining MIN and not another X11 coin with 1 100% pool fee?
