Update!!
The community has unanimously voted to cut the coin count.
Instead of having a total # of coins of 7 million in POW, we will now have 2 million.
POW mining will end at block 38,000 - 10,000 blocks from now.
We're at block 28,00 as I write this, with approx 1.5m coins outstanding.
We will remove the last mining period, which was from block 48,001 to 176,000.
POW Ending at block 38,000, with approx 2 million coins generated in POW.
This is approx 10 more days of mining, which I think is fair and enough time to alert miners and pool owners.
We won't release the wallet update until we hear the communities' reaction to this.
Please comment!

Please comment! Go for it... looks like most of the found blocks are POS now anyway

Please comment! That answers my question, regarding the missing coins according to blockchain. This will make the coin a lot rarer and also a lot more valuable. It's price obviously hasn't adjusted yet, people gonna stock up soon.

Linux glyphcoin wallet compiled from github does not find any connections.
The the default nodes do not work: addnode=107.170.153.13 addnode=192.241.216.83 addnode=107.170.35.157 addnode=188.226.184.232
Anybody can provide me with a working node to get my client synced? A current peers.dat will also do the job.
Thank you guys, Rango

https://i.imgur.com/kSdDfuF.pngGLYPH coin cut is completed, small code change. We will be releasing new wallets and asking exchanges to update github source.
Full POW at block 38,000 or in approx 8000 blocks, about 8 days.
Coin count will be reduced to approx 7.5m in POW, to approx 2m in POW.
Glyphcoin "trollbox" encrypted chat feature is almost done. We will release updated Windows wallets with the feature.
After, we will have exchange stats and built in block explorer.
Thanks for the support, prepare for higher GLYPH prices!

I think generally when a coin does this nowdays, it comes of as more of a cheap tactic to inflate the price, and therefore people loose respect for the coin.

Beware gentlemen. if you look at blockchain, see 68% holding the coins in the upper 10, you can guess who holds. That would pumpers prometheus, fontas, koolio and others? Yes exactly those who destroyed cryptcoin. I to a screenshot wallet is in an interview nick Pr0m- pr0m3theus. Glyph is P&D shitcoin https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FG9odog0.png&t=542&c=ZoIUMmKER0xM1w

Hello again! It's the Hibtc team here, and we invite your community to take part in our Coin Voting process. Only active members of community can choose which currencies should be trading on Hitbtc. You can vote for Glythcoin and add it to Hitbtc. Every few weeks we add the coin with the highest number of votes. We've already added Doge and are in the process of adding NXT now. A small tip: You can sign in here: https://hitbtc.com/signin and add 10 votes instead of one from non-registered users. The other way to add a coin to the exchange is our Market Maker program. We add any coin with two Market Maker contracts, irrespective of the number of votes it has. Take a look here: https://hitbtc.com/mmAny questions, feel free to ask!

Some folks dumped massively. No one encouraged them for doing so. Someone else bought their dumps. I think it is not too bad for the coin. Big holders are those most interested in keeping the coin alive and not to kill it's price. Look at bitcoin and it's big holders. Is bitcoin doing bad?
