Originally it was to make a quick buck. Grin

But to be honest, now it seems like it will become the future. So I stick around. Smiley
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Originally I had only joined the primedice to try and get some free BTC, but then bitcoin started getting a lot more popular. Since then more and more threads about it have popped up on reddit and other popular sites making it a topic of choice between many people. Because of all of that talk, and how nicely bitcoin was made and how many uses it has, it's made me more interested in it. It's amazing how popular the bitcoin community on reddit is.

Bitcoin is the new technology. It promises great ideas. It's revolutionist and anarchist. I'm glad I'm a part of this history.

Why have you joined bitcoin?

Obviously to make money, that's why I joined.

But after losing quite a bit from being scammed once, I lost all my faith in bitcoin.

The only reason why I stayed was because of this community. It is like my second family.

What's your reason for joining and staying with bitcoin?

This is my 500th post !!

dont lose your faith in bitcoins its easy to earn and easy to gamble all away ... you must have to get a collateral before giving loan .. Smiley i suggest..

me too lose faith in bitcoin when i lose 200 bucks on gamble but gain back with one shot x3 Smiley xD

I'm really curious about it. I'm also interested to know more about new technologies. And also I also like to trade using bitcoins.

It's a good way to learn how to trade, too. The exchange of assets and shares IRL has a huge barrier of entry, while you can easily start trading cryptocurrency even with a 5$ budget.

It's funny that people say, "joined Bitcoin" like it's a golf club instead of a payment system. I guess this forum is the clubhouse? lol

To improve our situation due being broke ass nikkas like me, what's the deal? we all wanted to be the guy that doesn't miss the boat, unfortunately I missed the boat so im depressed daily by not getting in earlier. I still like the concept, I still like the idea, and the community and talk about i to people.
There is a possibility that we are still on pioneer status and it goes to like what... 10k? I doubt it tho, but who the fuck knows, might as well catch em all like pokemons. Also this community is so huge and diverse that you can read interesting shit all day.

Like 80% of people joined for profit I believe and like 20% for bitcoin freedom and independence. I personally joined mainly for profit and I did made profit from bitcoins and when I accumulated more knowledge about BTC now I am with BTC not only for profit.
