This is a good coin, what needs to be done to revive it?

Block explorer and a pool?

I assume the premine has already been spent by whoever held it.   So that really doesn't matter at this point I wouldn't think.

I've been with this coin since march (nearly from the start). I think, premine is stuck at CryptoRush

Along with a majority of the coin supply I assume.

Which makes this coin even more interesting...

I am willing to spend time and energy on reviving this coin of someone would help point me in the right direction.  It would be my first work with a coin / blockchain but I do have past coding and developing experience with other projects in the past.

I kind of need pointed in a direction because I am not sure where to start or what needs done first.

Also, I suspect it will be a slow learning experience, not something I'd be able to get done overnight.  

So, it looks like a block explorer is a priority, where would one begin with that?

Also, I assume the original DEV controls the 66 website, so, unless he updates it, not much can be done with that I gather.

I think my main concern with the coin is with the coins that were at CryptoRush.

Will those coins end up back in circulation?  Will they be destroyed?   Are they stuck in a black hole forever?

Those are questions I have and have concern with because I do not know who has those coins, or were they already sold, or are they still being held in a wallet somewhere.

I think it's too early to talk about the end of the coin: it's still alive and we all have interest, someone more someone less, to keep it alive. Personally I'm keeping the wallet active and mining it for the majority of the day. Hoping someone that took the charge to revive the coin accomplish its mission.

Well, we don't know answers to these questions. As you know, CR is now in open beta mode and it looks like they will make it back to life. But 66coin was removed from trading a couple of weeks before CR closed, for some problems with wallet/hardforks. So, probably, it will not be renewed and hence those coins are destroyed forever.

I have been all these days analyzing the state of 66 coin. and c-cex.com and other currency exchange have been removed from their pages. there is only a page where exchange, coin-swap.net.

however some time this coin was in very high and low prices as its developer did not give more maintenance.

I would like to make any changes to the currency 66coin either Algorithm: Multi-Algo to try again attract miners and that currency back to what it was before.

If anyone is interested in the idea, or have suggestions let me know that I can invest my time to make these changes .....

maybe I have not fully undestood your proposal: are you suggesting to make some changes to the algo of the 66 or something? Of course I'm interested in the money I invested in, as I presume many others are.

Correct the changes I mentioned above, I only say the suggestion, as they may be as much as logo change, or something else as the reward system or encryption ... as long as it remains Scrypt. The idea is to re-attract more miners and returning with promotions in exchange for that return to as well have the same boom, which while back he had........

the news today is that apparently Menzo, the original developer, is back in action. FIrst we see what happens, then we support them.
