I'm keeping an eye on ePawncoin
And NODE is going to make a splash.
If you pick the right IPO's they can make you some serious BTC

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=186785Here is the link to my trust settings here on forum. This trust system is very unfair. I make good on every deal Ive ever made. I had many, many deals as you can see and I never scammed anyone. All it takes is a random account to give you negative trust and youre screwed. Tomatocage has never even talked to me ever but when the random acct hit me with negative trust, Tomatocage came right behind him and marked neg trust again so obviously he was the one who did it. You can look at Tomatocage trust and see how many of his compeditors at the currency exchange thread he labeled scammers. I never scammed anyone. My trust was green over 20 before this. I hope it never happens to you because the mods cant help you.

and an equal amount of people will lose that same amount of BTC be warned people.. especially with IPO's they are ALL scams. this is not the stock market and these scammers can not be trusted.. they may at times let you get a bit of money but ultimately you WILL be ripped off ..it's how it works. Ponzi scheme 101 and ignore anyone giving advice unless they have been here since pre-October 2013 since they removed the noobie jail we have an endless stream of dummy shell accounts here lying and scamming to push Ponzi scheme coins. ignore these scamming douche bags ! it's always hilarious how noobs with 3 posts come here and seem to know everything lol guys don't change their account for no reason ..they do it because they have to.. to scam you ! I see a noob talking here i just ignore them.. their opinions don't count.

I'm pretty annoyed with myself.
Missed nxt.
sent a little bit of money to edgecoin (not much, thank god)
Missed Qora.
got in on the freebie part of eXo, but didn't invest, because I was skeptical
blah.
I've admitted to myself that I can't pick 'em.
So I'm asking you guys, are there any good IPOs going on right now? Why is it a good IPO?
IPOs are always good, but it suddenly turns bad when the IPO owner gets vanished mis qora, they shit scam me loos money. Buy nxt now cheap as fuck . double money price burnt in by whales , no more dump just pump. nxt is king and dont you fucking forget it.

daytrading is so hard though. with an IPO the decision is made, I can't back out, that's what I like about them.
Yeah, but 90-95% are scam or will fail because the developers lack vision or talent or marketing. And you don't know that beforehand, you don't know anything about developers usually or their plans. Investing in an established undervalued coin is a lot safer. Just my opinion. My suggestions: 1. Buy some NXT. 2. Take a look at NEM stakes being sold on the NXT DEX. Consider buying a partial stake. 3. Buy some MaidSafeCoin. This is still priced near or below the IPO price depending on the day. 4. Buy some XCP. It's only about about 4x the IPO price. 5. Look at crowd-sales and tokens coming through the pipe on the Counterparty DEX e.g. Swarm, Vennd. Full disclosure: I own NEM stake, EXO stake, NXT, XCP, and MAID. There's plenty of stuff going on, and no need to feel like you've missed out. "It's still early days". I'll add my two cents on the Cryptonote coins. They won't fly for a very simple reason: the addresses are way, way too long. My mom isn't going to use those, ever. Too scary for her. The NXT team was pretty smart to truncate the 256 bit public key to 64 bits (+ auto correcting RS code). If you want to place a bet on anonymity, better to go with a competent, non-anonymous developer. There are scant few of those... having gotten a little bit of the homework from this post knocked out, I wanted to come back and thank you for these insights.

But Syscoin IPO pro rate is just 5%, miners will dump the price quickly. I couldn't agree more.

IPO's are just scams after scams, I've seen a lot of people lose money on IPO alt shitcoins on this forum. Just ignore them when they appear.

Don't do IPOs, it's too risky, you will lose money in 95%-99% of them. Only invest in a crypto when it's established, has run for at least a month or two and if you like its fundamentals compared to other cryptos, buy it on dips.

i agree.. look for fairness and not giving opportunities to rip people off. IPO's here are like coin cloners saying hey send me BTC now and i promise i will give you some of this useless new coin later.. trust me. who should they be trusted ? they know they have ruined the Rep of the term IPO in the altcoin scene so bad they can't even use the term anymore.. they simply scammed too many people far too many times.. so what did they do ? they started calling these scams "Crowd Funding" or "Angel Investing" No one is here to be your friend.. they all want your money guys.. don't be gullible ! scam trick no. 1 is let them get *some money before you take them for everything their worth.. don't ever forget that ! Don't mine but want the coins ? so your thinking about an IPO ? Maybe rent some mining rigs or something ? Don't forget i am not trying to pick on anyone here.. i just hate hearing how people get taken for large amounts of Bitcoin when they first start out. I hope that in the last year i have helped a lot of noobs from getting burned. Watch your backs.. this scene is greed central.

Can someone give me an explanation on why NXT is good? What's with those photos on their site? Are those real NXT devs or just a bunch of stock photos of random people?

What's largest IPO so far besides Maid Safe.
Typically, how much does a common IPO need in terms of BTC

having done my due diligence I still feel Bitshares-PTS and Angelshares are the best right now. but as someone trying to make money I worry that I'm starting to become emotionally attached to that community-- but it says something about it that they're building something you can become fixated on in that way but you should do your due diligence too, Spoetnik is correct. Can someone give me an explanation on why NXT is good?

**photo clipped***
the site you're looking at isn't the official nxt site, it's something set up by a third party, and yea I think they're stock photos, but don't quote me on that. NXT is good because it's proof-of-stake, which solves alot of problems hypothesised about traditional proof-of-work. NXT has the potential to be really volatile as well though, but don't all cryptos? Peercoin is good for the same reason, proof of stake. definitely research that proof of stake thing.
