I like gambling on Bitstarz from time to time. I started to refer some friends for it. The free spins gift is a really good argument for most to join the site. When they told me that they signed up then I can not see them immediately on my affiliate statistics. I also do not see the clicks on 'visits' immediately. Is there a wanted delay between actual click/signup and the indication on the referrals statistics?

I just want to know because I am thinking about to refer on my blog, too.

Wish I researched before hand and didn't start gambling on Bitstarz. Similar story to btcgmbling guy...

My initial deposit was 0.58 bitcoin (or over 300 euros). Received 100% bonus with 40x wagering requirement as promised. Got lucky, won a few bigger bets on slots. My balance grew up to 9 bitcoin at one point. I was so happy, wanted to cash out it as quickly as possible, therefore I raised my bets up to the max. All the time while betting I was monitoring my balance and wagering indicator in %. Everything went smooth, and within few hours I managed to reach 40x requirement with over 6 bitcoin in my balance. Decided to cash out and went to bed. Just to wake and read an email from Bitstarz that I breached their terms and conditions of betting more than 0.025 bitcoin per roll, therefore all my winnings has to be forfeited. There's so many ways they could make it right, but they simply refuse to do so. They could make their platform so that it wouldn't be possible to make incorrect bets. They could make so that bets over the limit wouldn't count towards wagering requirement. Even after the fact, they could discard just the offending bets, but leave the other. But instead what they do they just steal your rightfully earned money. I feel like someone had stolen money from me.

Gotta read the terms and conditions before you wager. This is the most important of anything while taking a bonus.

Yeah that sucks man but bitstarz has pretty restrictive bonus rules and as such you really have no recourse. They do list the bonus terms and conditions with the max bet rule on their website. It could definitely be easier to get to but they do have the terms listed on this page:
https://www.bitstarz.com/promotions

Then you have to click terms and conditions and find rule 12 which states

Until the play through requirements have been met, the maximum bet that can be placed is 5 EUR/GBP/USD/CAD/AUD, 50 SEK/NOK. When it comes to Bitcoin players the maximum bet is 25 mBTC (0.025 BTC). This includes double up wagers after the game round has been completed, for example, wagering winnings from X game round on red/black.

Now for bitcoin players 25mbtc max bets isnt that restrictive. However if memory serves they chose this amount when bitcoin was in the 200s but in todays value is close to a $12.50USD bet per spin. Now in my online history have I rarely bet close to that although once on one of those Booming Game slots @ bitcasino I had just loaded a deposit and used a bonus and inadvertently max bet 96mbtc. Luckily it was a small winning spin where I got my money back but if they had restrictive terms I would have been toast right off the bat.

With that said its not all that uncommon for some of the big online casinos to have these types of max bet terms in place. Anytime I play somewhere new I make it a point to read their Terms and Conditions. This all comes with experience playing online however.

Sorry you got your winnings taken away and at least now you will be more aware next time you decide to use a bonus at any online casinos in the future.

Would recommend completetly avoiding this site at all costs, there are many other sites that are much better to go ahead and bet on.

I've personally never seen such a scummy operation in my life, and I live in New York for fuck sake, it's a breeding ground for problems out here. Off the topic I've gone, but this site is really something that you MUST read up on before you EVEN THINK ABOUT BETTING ON which I still won't recommend. Support is complete and utter shit, just like their platform in general.

Well, that's my rant for the day about this wonderful shit.

Goodluck BTC betters.

Sorry to hear you had the same problem as me Sad

Just an update on this, it has been several months and BitStarz has not rectified the situation in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER... What may be even more disturbing is the fact that they have not made a single change to their terms & conditions OR the way they operate their "company" - so all these absurd stipulations and bonus rules remain carefully hidden. They are still banking on players not reading them and betting over the 0.025mbtc limit so that if the player wins, they can confiscate the winnings. If the player loses, they don't say anything of course... This is aside from many other unfair ways that they use their terms and conditions against players solely to maximize their profits, no matter how morally wrong it is; they don't seem to care.

Needless to say, they are still using the same scam tactics they have been using since day one. It is extremely frustrating, but I hope that by me sharing my story (and the countless others that were scammed by BitStarz doing the same), it will deter new players from experiencing the frustration that we all went through. Hopefully it costs them much more than the 20BTC they scammed me out of in the long run, so they can see how that feels...

Man, that really sucks. I don't think they're getting any traffic any more from the bitcoin community as it seems here and reddit they're widely known as a scam site. If you haven't already, I'd leave your story on askgamblers.com and try file a dispute there. They are miraculously highly rated there, so I suspect that makes the vast bulk of their traffic

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately I reached out to just about every major review site, including askgamblers. Askgamblers deleted my complaint/account and told me it wasn't valid, as did the others. They basically shunned me and told me to F off... It is primarily because they are part of the BitStarz affiliate program, which there is nothing wrong with. I am a big advocate of affiliate programs, but when a company has had this many valid complaints and they refuse to fix the problem or even offer the players a legitimate solution they should really start to reconsider promoting them.

I believe it probably converts really well for them and they are making a lot of money with it b.c. of the great bonuses and free spins that BitStarz issues. Unfortunately that means nothing when the company is known to scam winning players consistently, knowingly and for a prolonged period of time. If they keep it up, word will spread and they will go bankrupt soon enough (if they aren't already). I just hope they don't con any more players like they did to me. They confiscated what would now be about $12,000 USD so I'm still pretty pissed as you can imagine.

Even though they have most likely scammed hundreds of other players in the past, they pissed off the wrong person this time. I have been working for many months in my spare time to shed light on this scam so others don't have to go through the same thing. I guess their reputation isn't worth that much to them which blows my mind. Public perception is everything with any company, especially gambling related and it seems like they are going out of their way to ruin their own reputation. Also in gambling $12,000 isn't all that much money, and if you can't afford to pay players out for that amount there are probably much bigger issues going on behind the scenes.

I thought bonuses were supposed to make their players happy Tongue Scary bonuses  Shocked Shocked Shocked

You should really do what RHavar suggests, or close your casino.

You can also compensate the players you have ripped off with your one sided terms. You can take just the proportionate winnings and bet amounts from the bets above max bet, and multiply the remaining wagering requirement with 0.95 if any to calculate the final balance. (You cannot claim this is unfair)

Bitstarz is a scam as well, there are many complaints about double or changing terms when you won big money here. These 2 scams cooperate to scam people money, so that's why they still lists pocket dice there.

Dont know if they really scammed because past few months ago, i play on their site and they paid me out a good amount when i win some amount though. May be this only apply on some big winners. But at that time i didnt activate their bonus too in case something like this will happen some day. Btw does pocketdice have anything to do with bitstarz? Although pocketdice scam you dont need to said it on people thread though

Its really annoying to see what guys are really going through only to make a legitimate and risky income. In addition to being frustrated by those who are to protect the interest of guys from this unethical practice of Bistarz even though other forums that have compromised in handling this matter, I belive a good amount of reputation has been lost because of this and it will take long to recoverfrom that I am sure of.

Hi guys,

I'll try to reply to this as objectively as I can.

When it comes to max bet rules with bonuses, yes it exist, but it's not uncommon when playing
online. A google search confirms this pretty quickly, and as a player it's always important to be
aware of the rules prior to start playing. We're doing our best to get this information out there
and it's displayed in general terms, bonus terms, and reminders about going through the rules
prior to playing can be found on the promotion page, in all bonus emails and on the deposit page.

If you do not agree with the max bet rule, that's totally OK. But as a player you have an obligation
to follow the rules of the site. If you do not agree with the rules, we respect that and hope you
find another site that suits you better. Thankfully you have the freedom to play anywhere you like.

Now, to the accusation that we change rules to try to screw people over when they win big, it would
be great to see some evidence for that. This is obviously not true and a slanderous accusation without
any truth behind it.

As for Pocket Dice and all the other games, they're all regulated by both a gaming commission and
the mechanics of the games have a random number generator which is also verified by at least one
third party. Sure, one can claim that it's all a big conspiracy too, but then again you can claim that
the NFL, the national lottery and the moon landing was a big hoax too. All I can ask of anyone out
here is to hear both sides of the story and make up your own mind.

If anyone has any questions regarding BitStarz or how the casino industry works, I'd be happy to answer
that. I'd also like to point out that all licensed casinos with game providers that are also licensed work
exactly the same in terms of game mechanics. We cannot and would not manipulate any game, it's
impossible.

Mike

prior to playing can be found on the promotion page, in all bonus emails and on the deposit page.

We cannot and would not manipulate any game, it's
impossible.

Mike

Rule regarding maximum bet during the bonus is deceptive and not acceptable.
Bonus rules are not published prior activation (last time I checked) they are hidden on different page.
If you are not comfortable with players betting over 25mBTC software should prevent this or warn players immediately before accepting the bet.
Scam Accusation board is full of complaints on Bitstarz, you are doing nothing to resolve them.
