I think minimum value fo solo mining xmr is 20 X rx480, because if you have "no luck issue" it will be wasting time job.

Nice campaign, thumbs up and good luck for your pool! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) new pool: Miningspeed - Monero pool Pool URL : http://xmr.miningspeed.comSome people might know http://www.miningspeed.com for their calculator or their list of card configs on different algo's, well we now released a mining pool EU Based server (more may be added in the future) 0,1% fee Because our pool is brand new and we like to make some promotion, we now have a special campaign: Each day at a random hour i will list the miners that are mining in our pool in a list that we upload on randompicker.com List can be seen here: https://www.randompicker.com/Project/Draw.aspx?ID=384970For every KH that you miner does you get listed once in the list, for example: if you are doing 3KH, you yet listed three times that day. At 15/1/2016 we will close the campaign and draw 3 winners out of these list, drawing will be visible on randompicker.com These 3 winners get 30% of the pool fees that are taken untill 20/1/2017 We likely will start a new campaign after this.. All our ports support vardiff, if there are big miners that need even higher dif, just let us know..

Thanks, hope some people will jump on it soon, once we have a decent amount of miners and blocks found, things will work out theirselves.. Am thinking to make a script to have a permanent campaign for paying pool fees to the people, but lets focus first on getting some miners there ;-)

Dear miners, As you all know, by January 9 all Monero users including miners and mining pools must update to on v0.10.1 in advance of the upcoming scheduled hardfork. I think this is a very good opportunity for us all to address one of main weaknesses of Monero: the hugely centralized mining pool landscape. As you check your miners and mining pools configuration for compatibility with the upcoming update (v0.10.1), please take a moment to consider supporting one of the new mining pools that have joined the community in the past year. Switch your hash-power to a new mining pool and you will: - contribute to decentralizing the Monero network - make Monero more resilient, stronger as a crypto-currency - get more XMR yourself, through smaller mining fees Here's a complete list of Monero mining pools and their current status, there's plent to chose from: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/5ke2y2/psa_users_solominers_exchangesmerchants_and_pool/ (thanks to u/dEBRUYNE_1/) Thoughts? Ideas? Comments? Please share! - Happy mining, Big - http://xmr.coolpool.io/

you'd need to set up a pool software or some kind of stratum to monerod proxy. with this hashrate I would recommend against solomining. better get some low-fee pool. you can find a list at http://moneropools.com

Hello everyone! I'm the co-owner of usxmrpool.com, the first (we think) pool on the US West Coast. We're in Seattle so miners in western Canada will have a good ping time too. We are ready for the next hard fork.We were a bit lucky to find out first block yesterday, after 2.5 days only. Our fees are currently at 1.2%, and we really hope to lower them as soon our fees are covered. Our minimum payout is 0.3 XMR with a domination unit of 0.01 XMR. Thanks for joining if you do, but any case, don't forget to spread your hashes!

Hey guys! A little report from https://www.usxmrpool.com. We've been online for 6 days now, and have found two blocks: one before, and one after the fork. All payments went smoothly and we're very happy with that. We were lucky enough to have a guy with a 35 KH/s rig give us a hand, but he's gone mining somewhere else now (probably helping some other small pool). Spreading hashing power over many pools is very important for the Monero ecosystem, and to help find new miners ready to try our pool, we decided to lower our fees to 0.4%, just to cover payment transaction fees. If you're mining on the USA or Canada West Coast, please give us a try. We've got excellent ping times from British-Columbia to southern California. In any case: think about trying a small pool near you. Thanks for reading!

I would even say: more than ever. With the last fork that brought RingCT, Monero is most probably the most anonymous and trustless crypto out there.
