Can't start Nis any idea what is wrong?

Last lines in Nis log is:

Code:
NEM Deploy is ready to serve. URL is "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx:7890/". (org.nem.deploy.CommonStarter a)
something really bad happened: java.util.concurrent.CompletionException: java.lang.IllegalStateException: network boot failed (org.nem.nis.NisMain b)

no other errors.

just 3 warnings:
Code:
no certificate found for (file:......package/nis/nem-deploy-0.6.77-BETA.jar <no signer certificates>) (org.nem.core.metadata.CodeSourceFacade <init>)
context ================== current: 39544385 (org.nem.nis.NisMain init)
auto-booting NBxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ...  (org.nem.nis.NisMain a)

Ncc doesn't see Nis and so does Chrom (say no nist startet)

Installed all those
nis-ncc-0.6.77
jre-8u92-windows-i586
jre-8u92-windows-x64

System Vista 64 ( the standalone run in the past when the stake were distributed )

Can't get it to run.. so moved to another PC. Currently synchronizing.
How can I get the wallet over to that new PC.
Just copy the .wlt file over?

You need to copy the .wlt and the .adb file over.

With regards to the other pc which has probs starting nis, this usually means that NIS could not communicate with any other node in the network during startup. I wonder if you had all port closed on that computer.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Could I get more info on SUPERNODES please, might think of running one.

https://forum.nem.io/t/nem-supernode-rewards-program/1735/470

But you know some people were buying 300-1500 to run super node.
Even with rising nem price number of supernodes were rising i see that in constant decline reward.
It was 820 2-weeks later is 520 so number of active nodes is rising.
I think that we should wait a bit till price will stabilize and then decide.
New people are needed but we don't want scary investors who invested big $ in SuperNODE
and now you piss on them. Market don't like instability.

I dont think thats a big issue tbh. If the requirement went down to say a million, I would imagine a person running one node would now run 3. Also node rewards will double in a month or two.

Correct. I think it has been a driving factor too because even me considered to upgrade my stake to a supernote when the price was at 1000. (I missed the supernode thing completly before) But then the price climbed even higher and is now according to my calculations in a range where it simple makes no sense anymore for a 1 stake stake holder to upgrade except he has very strong believes in NEM.
So for me I will go another way unless I get an info it is lowered but that decision will come too late for me for sure.

Looking over to NxT I have to say the suprenode might have played a role but can't be the main price driving factor.. so it's puzzeling to me what really drives the price of Nem and Nxt this days.

Anyway I never expected the price to climb that hight that fast. I now have to bother about takeing security steps. Not keeping all in one wallet as example.. and convert a few (but not many) into currently more price stable coins just to catch the risk that it can crash after such a steep rise.

Well done NEM dev team! Who had thought it will become that significant when he or she bought that stake or just posted interested the days back. I was sceptical but it just became my best invested 0.004 BTC ever this days...given I can reactivate my wallet which I am not yet that sure. Where again did I write down that passwort.. !?  Huh Grin

p.s. thanks for the answer with the .wlt will try once he finished with the synch.

,,,, to me what really drives the price of Nem and Nxt this days.

....

NXT is going to realse NXT2.0 where old NXT1.0 will be 50% of it.
Like allways second 50% goes to ?? Yea devs...

Nem just is proving good coin had stady growth so some people went into
whales seeing uptrend wanted pump it and ready.
Anyway someone can have some inside info but do i realy care?
I did shit comparing to guys who can have that inside info.
Devs  are working hard  guys they went to real companies while others just focus on new
shinning logo in most of cases:D...

I'm surprised Litecoin has held it's value this long, it's nice to see real world development with NEM makes a difference.

NEM will take over the japenese financial system.  Smiley

Thats the reason why NEM will be on 1# on Coinmarketcap in a few month.
Bitcoin will be always the Number One, but the Marketcap of Bitcoin will be then only Numer 2, after NEM.  Smiley
