You would pay 10$ per month at maximum for a suitable VPS to run a supernode.
So it actually is profitable Wink
I see there are 149 node now, but if the xem price increases, then it would be profitable.

Actually not all 149 nodes are active.
I think they are less than 100 because I'm receiving more than 700 XEM per day per node (I have two ).

That's because a supernode needs  to succeed in all tests four times a day (each six hours) to be counted for the distribution of the daily reward.
Until now 2/3 of all supernodes succeeds on average in all tests.
So setting up a supernode does not garantee you a payout each day actually.

24 nodes are deactivated so the success rate is higher.

Meaning those 24 supernodes can have a bigger piece of the rewards.... CONGRATULATIONS.

I don't get what you mean...

Sorry those nodes were deactivated so the rest of the node may get bigger rewards.

833, 804, 760, 721, today we don't know yet. I expect it lower because the number of supernodes increases.

Edit: it turns out to be 673 today

My opnion about the website;

Current situation;

Improved version;

- You can see the word 'NEM' just one time instead of 4 times
- Logo is used 2 times instead of 4 times
- Lightweight
- You can enjoy the view of the website/background
- More colours thanks to the icons
- Less is more

the new NEM site looks like crap the designer must of been drunk while coding it. I believe its that guy who worked with Lisk and then Nem. tonyhughesdesign.com is his portfolio.

Utter rubbish! I think the new site is great!  Grin

Thanks for the feedback.

The main part of the website refresh so far has been an all new backend. Hopefully the front in can continue to get some upgrades and refresh.

Market cap on NEM io should contain a "$" and commas  ex. $18,000,000

Both have 1 CPU, 2 GB RAM, minimal disk space
One at OVH (France), the other cloud.eu (Italy)

OVH is definitely not enough, we've tried them, and it seems they are overselling their nodes
(too many VMs on a single machine, not good enough scheduling).

I dont understund why Nem platform is older than new one's many platform token/coins anything and its so low price and low marketcap ?
Newest show up and jump on top prices and volumen.
What different is Nem vs Etherum, Lisk, Waves, MAID Safe Coin, Factum. Amp or other "platforms"  about I never heard ? What difference they have vs Nem and why Nem is anything better than other or if worst why so time and so cheap price. Too many coins ? Nobody heard what it is ? I dont know what it is.
So how many different platform can exist and have room to grow and which are better than other ?

Speculation.

People bought Lisk coins for a lot of money. So they don't want to sell cheap even if Lisk doesn't look so promising as NEM.

We got NEM shares almost for free.
I can sell at any price and still profit from it.

Edit: this is good because allows non initial stakeholders to take part.
