I overlooked this coin because of the first launch being botched. However it now has my attention. Is anyone working on a hardware comparison chart? I May just set up a couple of rigs to mine this coin.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

At block height 900, difficulty adjustment algorithm working well, hash rate on network getting high as well. Thank you everyone who is contributing to the future success of Shiny.

There are the following options: --coinbase-addr=ADDR payout address for solo mining --coinbase-sig=TEXT data to insert in the coinbase when possible
Could you provide an example about how to solo mine while paying the mined coins to ADDR? Thanks for your work. Source code is better.

We need a standalone miner. No, i will not use a binary a random person on the internet posted earlier...

I hope there are some future plans: 1. standalone miner with source code available. 2. a pool (solo is hard now).

At least 15G of memory! Meaning: Most people can not participate
Where shiny future
Where is your plan
the worst part is that you need 32gb to mine at full potential, basically we need a server lol

The reason why it isn't utilizing 100% cpu is because the scratchpad initialization is done in parallel threads before the actual hashing is started. It has to wait for threads to finish which is why cpu usage drops. Btw the scratchpad initialization takes up most of the hashing time.
