Still getting bus error

./minerd -a ramhog -o stratum+tcp://106.3.225.46:6666 -u address -p x -t 3

48Gb memory

Tried with 2 threads? Check how much ram your operating system consumes.

Tried that...

[...] p2pool.

What's so good about p2pool compared to nomp?

Found this. Looks interesting.

Nevertheless, wtf is wrong with NOMP?

More pools are healthy~
But no one can build SHC pool except sandor111 .....
I have tried to build one, but failed......

What was the error/problem? Does it need specific code for the ramhog algorithm?

I haven't tried to setup one.

rpc error, cause shc does not support batch rpc calls~ Need specific code~
Would sandor111 like to share it?
Thanks

I dont know, it should not be possible. He is playing us or sandor is lying.

You don't believe in?? But my English is not good, can not explain!

Write proper sentences in your native language, use google translator and explain.

Sandor should be online soon, please wait for him to respond here before trying to fuck up our one and only pool with third party miners

Got my miner working.

[2014-07-08 13:20:14] accepted: 6/6 (100.00%), 47.35 hash/m (yay!!!)

But pool only shows 0.072 H/s hashrate after 25 minutes, is this normal?

Also, I'm starting to dislike the fact that one person may have the exclusivity of running a pool due to needed extra code. Don't know sandor, he might be a marvelous chap, but this exclusivity is still a problem and these things need to be clarified.

I have offered 1000SHC for p2pool and so has someone else(400SHC)
Patience, it will happen ..

Clearly someone is abusing the fact that the banning feature of my pool isn't working properly...

Not clear enough mate. Why isn't banning not working? This is a core feature of NOMP and if it has a bug, it should be reported to the dev. Can the pool determine if the connected miner is a legit one or not? I'm sure the problem is not the banning functionality.

Also, what is the above statement supposed to mean? That anyone can leech coins because banning does not work? Be more clear please.

Are you running custom shinycoind and NOMP code?

I don't have time to explain now, looking into the issues.

Yes & yes

All I can say now is that if you try to mine with unsupported software, you are wasting your time.

I've stopped mining on the pool since I read about the issue this morning. Now, even more unhappy to know you're running a custom coin server...

Sandor is on our side, give him time to fix the problem and he will most likely post details about the attack public.

Looks like another Slimcoin example

Sandor111 setups a pool -> Primer shares his nodes -> Sandor111 & Primer create a fork -> Sandor111 & primer get all the coins -> Other miners get scammed -> End of coin.

I'm out. The first thing when i saw those two on this thread was "Ow fuck", and it looks to be true, once again...

Sure. Explain the Slimcoin incident then? Why are you never mining a coin without sandor?
Why do you always share YOUR nodes?
Why are you always the one who has a shitload full of coins while others with the same hasrate are not even getting half those coins?
You fork every coin, plain simple. For all i know, you might be sandor himself. Like tom & jerry, you never see one without the other.

Hahaha funny. You are trying to be me but you lack intelligence.
* Slimcoin has a retarded developer. It was doomed from the start. Fork was not artificially made it was in the code.
* I share my nodes because i know how to set them up properly to allow more incoming and outgoing connections. I provided them to the dev here to speed up the new wallet sync.
* I have shitload of coins and shitload of bills to pay.My hash rate is at #1 spot on slimcoin pool and #2 spot on shiny pool.
* Shiny was not/had not forked.

Protocol level changes - I'm working on some features which I've already started in the code which include user created currencies.  Anyone who has any ability to make protocol changes, I can use some help in this area.  If you have the experience/expertise PM me

I think this is very low priority right now. Please make sure the coin server becomes compatible with pool server software. As already mentioned it is required to update the included rpc server so as to accept batch rpc calls. We could write a small rpc proxy that splits the batch request into single requests, but adding this support to the server would be optimal. User space coins can wait for some time I guess and we should focus on making sure the network is secure, on improved compatibility with pool software, coin website, and adding the coin to exchanges. Smiley

That's my point.

I'm #4 hashrate on slimcoinpool.

HOWEVER... When i solo mine with all my server, i'm getting about 650.000Kh/s.
Once i point them to the pool, i'm getting about 120.000Kh/s. Where is the rest going to?! Shares are getting accepted like solo.

Same shit on shinypool. Solo i'm getting 25,05, when pointing to pool a lousy 0.9.

But somehow, you seem to be the only one not being affected by this.

There's something fishy about you two !

Shinypool metric is H/s noob.

EDIT : Point your slimcoin hashes to quarry pool to compare the hash rate. Noob.
