Pisses me off to see feverpitch getting offers, going halfway through transactions and out of nowhere "someone" gives a better offer.

Don't pin poor business on me.
Since I'm getting scrutinized for this I'll be posting all relevant correspondence publicly when I'm on my home computer.

I'd like to see good explanations for these :

Not backing out.  Have the btc ready to complete deal and hope to get finalized in the next couple hours.  Excited about finally getting a Terraminer.  After getting scammed making the purchase of 1 about 1.5 months ago I've been wanting to purchase one since.

I still want to purchase it.  Sending pm now

Working to complete purchase through bitrated using DyslexicZombei as escrow arbitrator.
Should be able to get completed tonight or tomorrow for shipment tomorrow or Monday.

Still waiting for response with info needed for escrow.  Please provide me with email as required by bitrated or let me know a btc payment address you want used & I'll set it up with ognasty. He only needs that & your bitcointalk id.
I can do it tonight still so it can still be shipped out tomorrow like you said you would
Thanks.

THEN

Bump
OBO

Thought it was sold?  I said I would buy it & we had a deal which you cancelled because someone else bought it

I think so. Had things all setup to use escrow & purchase. In end he said someone was picking it up in person & paying .25 more than me. I agreed to match their price & cover shipping.  However no response about me purchasing. Did get a refusal to give me any information that would let me follow up on scammer we both purchased one from.  He got his & I lost 4.7 btc.

After trying twice to complete this with you I gave up.. You had a buyer here with a good rep, not sure what to make of it..

Sure I can give you good explanations.
That user seemed very serious about purchasing the unit.
We arranged escrow and it was initiated.  He refused to fund it when he noted that the arbitrator at Bitrated has been AFK for some time (I didn't check this information).  So he refused.
I then clarified with this user stating that Bitrated is a 2 of 3, so theoretically speaking, he would have received the miner and if anything should have gone wrong, the coins would be retained, not sent to me.  He would need to OK it and so would I, and if the arbitrator is AFK, then it's my problem, not his.  No risk on his end.

He refused this.
Then he wanted personal information from my wife who was the recipient on the unit because killingitsoftly scammed him, and I am not about to involve family members in legal matters such as these.  I spent an entire lunch at work trying to gather relevant information for him, but they would not provide me with anything since I was not (in their eyes) even a part of the transaction (wife is at home during the day, so she was the recipient).

Anyway.  That's how that went down.
Between this process, SeniorMember, who has just confirmed that he offered 3.5 to p/u has retracted his offer (this occurred today, I might add).

Long winded, but that's how things have shook down.  And I'll also add that I have been working 12 hour shifts and as stated, this is not #1 on my priority list.

Anyway, if anyone wants this, keep your eyes peeled on eBay, I'll throw it up there tonight.

Cheers all!

Thank you for that detailed reply, clears everything up and I apologise for any harm I have caused, just looked to me like you tried to up the value so buyers would offer more. Thanks again.
