In what is being called a federal land “buyback” program, the federal government is poised to seize land belonging to Indians and Cowboys.The Oglala Sioux and Lakota Sioux of the reservation have been told by the Federal Government that the National Parks Service will take over land in the South Unit of the Badlands National Park.

 

Interior claims it will be a “Tribal National Park” in an effort to camouflage the theft. They will hold the land in “trust” for the Indians, many of whom are agreeable because they want to see it put back to its pristine state and they have been promised a whole host of benefits.

 

The congressional bill authorizing the buyback means that tribal members and non-tribal members will be robbed of their deeded land at whatever price the government thinks it’s worth.

If owners refuse, the government will merely take it at no cost as the bill is written."

Thousands of tribe members will be affected in countless ways, including losing their share of the income from the entrance fee to North Gate of the Badlands National Park which will increase the economic depression in Pine Ridge, the eighth-largest reservation in the United States and the poorest. About 49% of the population live below the federal poverty level. Also residents will be forced to move, others will lose their grazing income from the land and this will push cattle ranchers out of business. It is bad enough that we lost the Black Hills, will this be the next Wounded Knee?

exactly, if you have independent communities, you are in a major advantage for such accounting.  at the end every other national community will follow.  crypto is the most correct and fair way to define people's time or 'money' as some people refer to it.

I still hold a bulk of coins, and have several btcs ready for collateral to catch more, so this coin isn't going anywhere any time soon, no death at sight. It certainly isn't the team's fault that cryptorush went down, and with it link to fdrn/ mzc. Experiment of this size is more important than quick gain.

Good Morning Mazacoin!

Just wanted to update in this thread and add my voice as what I have planned could be a big thing for Mazacoin. I've penned a film script where a couple take a motorcycle tour through the American countryside, and they stop by in Laramie, Wyoming. Imagine if they could find a store, like a cafe, there that takes Mazacoin, and has their sticker in the window! Whatever the fate of the film I definately want to add that scene and will promote on youtube. I know a hard fork has changed the economics of the coin but I remember Payu talking about the five year vision for this coin, I will certainly have it done within that time for sure

I tend to agree with you... I would even go as far as to make the "Mazacoin accepted here" label as much as possible similar to the "bitcoin accepted here" labels.
Simply new colors and new logo, ... or probably only a new logo



I think that would be important so that mazacoin could integrate into already existing label walls.

Just 2 days ago I announced that I was taking MazaCoin at cryfter.com

Im sorry to say that CoinPayments.net has stopped supporting MazaCoin just today or yesterday, without any announcement.
I know it was working 3 days ago because I tested it.

I believe it is critical to the survival of any coin that merchants are able to accept it.

You can contact CoinPayments.net support and tell them you disagree with this decision and would like to see MZC accepted again.
(Maybe they noticed the old thread being dead)

If these guys can accept/support coins like InfinateCoin and earthCoin, then I see no reason why MZC was de-listed.
