Whether it be by accident ..or not.. you have created a cold/offline wallet. Use vanitygen or pay someone to bruteforce the addy. This will reveal the private key.

I see the old faucet is not up anymore. I made a new CannabisCoin Faucet. Please donate if you can spare some to keep it going.

Such posting skills, wow, much smart And I dont think this coin is dead as it is still being used in real life, devs are known and they are looking at expanding their business.

And I dont think this coin is dead as it is still being used in real life, devs are known and they are looking at expanding their business. 1 MMJ purchase for 1 CANN has taken place since the 10/20 event. I wouldn't call that 'being used in real life'.

Nope they are not the same person. Perhaps they used the wallet code from cann, it's open source so it is here for that. But they should have modified it. This is a big problem that should be DeltaNine's #1 priority, but he's too busy to apparently fix the protocol. Cannacoin was launched on March 28th 2014 with the C wallet identifier two months before CannabisCoin. When CannabisCoin launched as scrypt on April 20th 2014, it used "420" as it's ticker. Later, the ticker was changed to CANN on May 27th with the x11 transition and they decided to use the same letter as Cannacoin for wallet identifying. I warned that this would cause problems eventually for users and exchanges.Option 1: It's still possible to prevent this in the future through a new CANN wallet and changing the default addresses to another letter. The CANN wallet would still need to accept addresses with the C but new addresses could be generated with a different letter. Over time these issues could become very rare as less people had C addresses. Option 2: The other option is for CANN to do a coin buyback through Bittrex to fix this problem entirely.

Whether it be by accident ..or not.. you have created a cold/offline wallet. Use vanitygen or pay someone to bruteforce the addy. This will reveal the private key. The private key can be dumped from CCN wallet and imported into a CANN wallet. If the exchange holds the wallet, contact them and they should be able to get you the private key.

Can anyone help a guy out. The sha1sum I'm getting after downloading the htm file of the paper wallet generator doesn't match the figure I'm getting from github. What am I doing wrong? I'm assuming I'm checking the wrong sum. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm getting a sha1sum ending 3970 when if I'm checking the right sum it should be d8f5
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS getting the htm using Mozilla

All these coins should have been accounted for before the dev decided to do any action. This was brought to his attention many times but was neglected. This was an abrupt move and not very well thought out and would have been best if some time put into making the decisions. What are miners to do with private keys if they ever want to re-claim their coins?

Tokyo you think CANN is such a threat to the cannacoin scam that you have to put all your time into stopping it, so sad.

As you can see from my profile details, registration date was January 23, 2013.
Now, regarding my postings. They're all factual postings that were put in this thread to bring light to some things that people investing into this coin should be looking into. I just so happen to start posting on the CANN thread due to my involvement as a medical cannabis & crypto activist. I have other paticipation in the OTC WoT, thats "Over the counter Web of Trust" for short.
i've participated in bitcoin for many years and have not found it necessary to post until my interest were peeked.
I haven't looked into your post history, but I suppose i'll do the same.
Thanks for your interest in my offerings to this threads discussion.
