So I'm not alone. Mine came from edn247. 25 coins. Thanks, dude, but I'm a bit perplexed  It wasn't me! Y'all missed this: i just received 25 tech in my wallet??? where the hell did that come from?
I may have left you a tech cookie or two, tee hee. Seriously though its great to be staking the TECH with this great new team. Thanks for the TECH rain Invest4al! |

I've noticed with a lot of coins the check box for "unlock for staking only" is just for show and a lot off wallets let funds be sent.  But the new TECH wallet "unlock for staking only" button actually works, if you have it open for staking and try to send funds it will prompt for the password then fully re-locks the wallet after sending (so be sure to re open for staking) |

Any help or pointers in regards to the block explorer and rich list would be appreciated. I put together the block explorer using the latest Abe source. It does not include a rich list, but I'm willing to hack away at it if there is any info.

I wonder how many people got frustrated and tossed their wallet when the original dev ditched ? might be far less than 187k in circulation? theres not really too much for sale on bittrex so I imagine most coins are in peoples personal wallets only 90 more blocks till 6000, new wallet has been working great so far |

I'd love to see a rich list for TECH would it include address' from the original wallet from pow? I wonder how many people got frustrated and tossed their wallet when the original dev ditched ? might be far less than 187k in circulation? theres not really too much for sale on bittrex so I imagine most coins are in peoples personal wallets only 90 more blocks till 6000, new wallet has been working great so far RPC Ace block explorer is not as good as Abe, but it does include a separate rich list generator. It's not something your gonna want to host as a live list because it scans the whole blockchain via RPC, but it could work to generate a one time list, or could be set up as a periodically updated list. I would still like to find some way to integrate one with Abe since all the data is stored in it's own database and doesn't rely on the wallet other than to update it with new blocks. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=686177.0A rich list would include everything from the very beginning because the blockchain is intact, we haven't had to start over. It will be interesting to see what rich addresses are staking and transacting vs sitting idle. |

I'm trading back and forth when I have time, XAN bit me pretty hard so I'm trying to recover and am pretty short on btc atm or I'd be spending a lot more on trading fees  we definitely need more people tweeting about #TECH #Techcoin on twitter, now that we're past block 6000 and the blockchain is running smooth as butter like it should a little PR could go a long way. did Techcoin project / community start a new thread when we took over? this is still the OG thread right? now that everything is fixed and running smoothly maybe it's time to officially "re launch" a new thread. and maybe do a twitter giveaway or something to get some much needed attention. I'd donate to a giveaway... 5 or 10 TECH (or something) per tweet to the first however many people... if we can get the right person to promote the giveaway for a set amount of TECH we could get a lot tech spread to new people "It will be interesting to see what rich addresses are staking and transacting vs sitting idle." since the blockchain is "intact" the people with original wallet sitting dormant on their computer can open it and sync up with the rest of us? that would be awesome |

Anyone want to give a pointer or two? My wallet is perma-syncing without actually syncing. Debug window spamming about node connection timeouts. I remember having something similar with Darkcoin at a certain point a while back, but forgot how to resolve.

Shooting in the dark here without more detail, but did you download the blockchain that's posted in the OP? It SHOULD get you in sync in a few minutes time. I had some trouble building the wallet (thus the modified .pro file), but once I did and downloaded the blockchain, I was in sync in a couple minutes. |
