Why not SDK 2.6?
SDK 2.6 blows for 5xxx cards. 2.1 yields the highest hash-rates.

The fans are completely exposed on the bottom of the crate. Works well except for the fact that I cant set the crate on a solid surface, so I just put it on top of another crate.

the fans are taking in air, the exhaust is the mesh part on the side of the power cable/switch. They may be cooking each other

Yeah SDK 2.6 Blows for 5000 and 6000 series cards. Anything before that is great. 2.1 is probably the best but I use 2.5 and have almost the exact same results. Definitely get off SDK 2.6

My buddy and I did something similar except we used two of them and spliced them together. (Cut one side of each off, then zip tied together. Way stronger then it sounds) I'll see about adding some pics. This will have to do for now... https://www.dropbox.com/s/r4kftyxah8213rm/2013-03-06%2013.56.19.jpgNot sure why the picture isn't showing up. I added the hyperlink for ya too.

I like the rig, and are thinking of building something similar.
Just wondered - would it not be even better if the cards were lying on their sides to get better access to unrestricted airflow at the fan-side?

Looks like those plastic crates make excellent mining cases. Cheap, light and transportable.

what kind of setup and connections are you using with what looks like 4 PSUs, 2 rigs with one mobo each, and what looks like 6 GPUs on one rig, 4 on the other?
Do you have something like 2 PSUs per rig/mobo, with one PSU on each powering ~3 cards and the other PSU powering the other cards and everything else, or something like that?
Is there any trick to that kind of setup, or is it just as simple as flipping the switch on both PSUs to turn it on?

I'm very interested in answers to these questions, as well.
