Can we get a 3rd party to hold the premine? We should use multisig to commit any transactions using the premine
I don't think this is needed, the development team are reliable.
However, I have lots of machines (pc and mac) here at home and could easily install a wallet on an empty till to hold the pre-mine as escrow.
You will note that I have nothing to hide, by my signature links, and if I run away with any escrow, feel free to hunt me down (this wouldn't be difficult)
lol
at the end of the day, I will reiterate; I don't feel the dev team need a premine escrow, but if the community are happier to have one, i will offer to hold it at no cost, free of charge.
Good idea! We already thought about that, but we had a different idea, we just wanted to make some unique public address where we send the premine.
Than make a block explorer, if there wouldn't be anyone out there who would make a nice one for us than we could make a basic one with Abe.
With this everybody could follow the premine transactions, and we would make a label to each one, what was it to spend on.
But if the community would like some another option we could agree with that, maybe that would be a good option too, if we would divide the coins between 5-10 escrow, and anytime we want some fund we would write a message in this thread.
We could do this, because we use our own funds for the servers, and we develop our own apps not any 3rd party developer company

So after paying out for the initial bounties we would need some coins to change it to btc, it is only for votes on mintpal, that would be 5%-10% of the whole premine.
The other 80-90% would go towards the sites, whose want XXX as a payment option, after each order they got in a month, we increase their revenue by a given percent.
This would give sites some incentive, we hope.
Maybe we should wait till others say what is in their mind, then we could make a vote pool.
thanks - this is all reasonable and is the kind of stuff you should have put in the OP or reserved the second post.
