I would give the men some time to respond! Smiley  We simply want to know whether to stay or go.  A week is a reasonable time for a response, considering the many hundred hours of human time put into this project so far.  There is no point to sell now, because you will only get peanuts for it, it is not even worth the time to sell.  Let us see if we still have something here....

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

It could be not a good idea to abandon this promising project. Deepcoin is worth to be continued as well done and innovative in technical terms.
I have been quiet for couple of weeks but am still in.

I'm Peter Bushnell the Feathercoin Lead Dev and was commissioned to create Deepcoin in the first place and am here to support ongoing development. The plan is to implement stealth addresses into Deepcoin, these plans were delayed due to personal problems on my end for which I apologise.

It is sad to see the delistings as we move on to new features but I do not believe that this is the end, further technical development will return confidence to this coin and will hopefully have a positive effect on the market.

I am discussing future development plans now with DeepcoinBiz and will update you on progress.

I apologize for the delay, there were some reasons for this, but as I said more than once, we will continue to work in any case.
It is a pity that Deepcoin will be removed from major exchanges, but this does not mean "it's over"

Traded for 1 BTC today. I hope it will be saved for a while. Please give a hand, trade some DCN and support the coin if you hold and mine.  Cheesy

Thank you for the statement Peter. Glad to hear the train is still on the tracks. Continuing best wishes resolving personal matters.

Excellent work on the trading volume UserAlter. It seems we are safe on Bittrex for the moment, which is great. Ccex I am not sure, but we can live with that.

I am in the process of adding SX to Deepcoin and have what I believe is now complete code. Tomorrow testing will commence on this new feature. The neat thing about this is that it can work on top of the existing network without the need for a hard fork.

Hopefully the next news you hear from me will be very positive.

Great to hear! It pleases me that you're working on this, I have a soft spot for Feathercoin as it was my first ever crypto purchase. Hopefully it does good on the back of this technical development.
