The price is very low, there are any news about the dev.. when return from holiday?

Hi andrealandia,

Eurbids mentioned the VoIP should be ready for release mid September.
He just left for Holiday the 11th I believe for 2 or so weeks.

Price is actually fairly stable at these levels and personally I'm surprised
It's as high as it is.
Seems most Speculators been weeded from KORE.

Enjoy your Weekend!

My wallet keeps crashing, or I would be staking.

it won't boot anymore .. i solved the problem once by replacing the %appdata%/korecoin files with a backup ... but then it started doing it again

error says ..

Assertion failed!

Program: C:\[folder]\korecoin-qt.exe
File: src\kernel.cpp, Line 370

Expression: pindex || pindex -> GetBlockHash() ==
(!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock: hashGenesisBlockTestNet)

Abort  Retry  Ignore

then say i hit Ignore ..

a new window pops up says

" Error blkindex.dat "  Ok

Darth0ne: It looks like you might have some corrupted files there.  My best suggestion would be:

#1] Delete all the KoreCoin Files and sub-folders, EXCEPT your wallet.dat file.  KEEP your wallet.dat file! (Hopefully it is not damaged, or if it is then hopefully you have a backup version of it.)
#2] So, deleting all the KoreCoin files and sub-folders whilst KEEPING your wallter.dat : Place the latest korecoin-qt.exe file along with your existing wallet.dat in the empty folder and start it up.
#3] Wait for the blockchain to download.  That can take quite a while so just leave it for a couple of hours.

If you had corrupted files then that will solve the issue, otherwise it might be something else.

hmm .. ok i opted to restore a working backup, cause at least i wont have to start the blockchain from 0 again.

I'm glad if you got it working again.  What I posted there we of course instructions for a complete reset.  No doubt you already know that stuff, but I would rather be extra clear than not, especially if others might need to do something like that on their system.

Happy staking(!)

Add a 0 and more to that when he's able to compile the platform he's considering

Korecoin holders are so lucky. Before the end of this year we will see a huge rise of this coin.

trying to send coins, they arent getting confirmed, whats going on ?!!

Just give it time.
They will confirm.

What's going on is there needs to be more staking.
Typical for PoS Coins.

+1, perfectly normal.  Once more people use KoreCoin (and there are more stakers) then the blocks will move faster.

What block do you show as the last?

Might take as much as a day.
However there are blocks going through so can't tell you for sure what it is.
Longest I waited was near 2-days.
When it's slow it's slow.
I presume this is the first time for you...Patience is needed is most likely the case.

patience is the key .. Really?? a day seems a bit excessive just to wait for some confirmations .. how are you supposed to use KORE for payment?

i like this coin .. but it's like it's sleeping!

Yes that's the last block and time will bring more just as you experienced the other day.
EDIT: A block went through while writing this...block 283965...

As you maybe aware alt ANON Coins are the incubators of Innovation.
As Azure stated when KORE gets more exposure/people staking things will change.
This is a typical issue of these new TOR/PoSA coins and as their market share
grows so does the number of those staking which resolves the problem.
Not many think it's a huge concern because they see the Real Potential.

The fact that KORE was the first PoSA to have TOR fully embedded and actually working
was quite a feat Eurbids pulled off and he's came up with more that are to come.
He's completed the PoBA code but waiting till he finishes some other work prior to
releasing it and to release new features while away would be the wrong move IMO.
Eurbids said the VoIP release should be by mid September.
Some here realize KORE maybe the real prospect for true ANON and to consider
He's doing it because he wants to is hard for many to wrap their heads around
his creative drive.

So far he has been proven trustworthy.
Eurbids is taking this seriously in providing a clean Moderated thread
unheard of in the Alt CC's and many of those coins threads posts are
comprised of 90+% worthless nonsense.

Ones that have been here that know the tech understand such as Azure.
Others not familiar have come to understand.
IF you are so inclined to stick it out the best we can do right now as a Community
is to stake KORE on as many Computers as we can while it is in sleeping/hibernation mode
till Eurbids comes back from a planned Family Vacation...RE: Patience...
Hope this helps.
 Smiley

Some are suggesting KORE usage ideas via PM.
Thanks, they are being looked into.

Hm, I've seen lots of confirmations today.  Things seem to be working just fine.  Darth', it seems there might be some other issue with your particular wallet.  Maybe connectivity issues?

It all seems well.  Darth' should not be seeing any long delays now.  Darth', if you are then I'd recommend checking out your system/wallet instillation.

Go into "Settings" and then "Options".
You can apportion as many coins as you like to stop them
from staking and you will be able to spend/send them.
