I have 5 S1's running on 750 watt power suplies and a 48 port switch that keep blowing my fuse box.

how do I prevent this from doing it again.

all S1's are overclocked as well

If you're using too much power for the circuit you're on, just put a few of the power supplies on a different circuit. Try plugging one or two of them into outlets in a different room, and experiment to see which outlets correspond to which breaker. If you're willing to go to the trouble, you can test each one by plugging in a few lights or turning on room lights (though they may also be on separate circuits) and flipping breakers to see what turns off.

Aside from that, you could underclock them, but that would be more difficult to do and would (rather obviously) lower your hashrate.

Put them on different circuits. It is blowing because it is overloaded and is protecting you from damage or a fire. So be careful.

You want to check what they are rated and not exceed that. Eg how many amps etc

Move to multiple outlets be careful multiple of your outlets probley are going to one breaker.  Or hire a electrician  if you need work.

5 S1s will pull almost 2000 watts.   A residential 115V 15A circuit will only handle about 1400 watts.  Even a 20A circuit will only run 1900 watts.

If you want to run all 5 on the same circuit, you should consider having a 220V 20A circuit installed which will make the PSUs run more efficiently or you can spread the units across multiple circuits in your house

5 S1s will pull almost 2000 watts.   A residential 115V 15A circuit will only handle about 1400 watts.  Even a 20A circuit will only run 1900 watts.

If you want to run all 5 on the same circuit, you should consider having a 220V 20A circuit installed which will make the PSUs run more efficiently or you can spread the units across multiple circuits in your house

I would definetly do as Bbeesley suggests. I ran 2 20A Dedicated outlets into my office for the mining pool I have as I had the same problem with 2 miners & 3 PCs in my office.

It took the electrician ~2h to run the line from the 1st Story Panel box to 2nd Story and i had to buy ~$80 worth of supplies. All in it cost about $300 to get the outlets in and help prevent a fire Smiley

Wow american houses are wired cheap. Uk standards is 240v at 13a most houses have atleast 4 circuits downstairs sockets. Upstairs sockets. Downstairs lights. Upstairs lights.

Wiring all depends.  You can get more volts, but most don't do it.  Most devices here don't require it.  But sadly us miners use more watts then average person.  The good thing though is cheap electricity prices depending on where you live Smiley .09-.1 kwh here.
