OMG, 100 BTC in the IPO for the dev and you people are gonna support this coin. Do you really believe that the dev is gonna support this coin after making 60k USD without any real effort?
Hey, dev, what are you gonna do with all that money? This is one of the worst premines ever given its size. I mean, 100 BTC and no one cares...
Moreover, first 7202 blocks have ZERO reward - is this a joke?

Who cares? People are just waiting the opportunity to dump their bags to another person.  Grin
Super risky investment but chance to have high reward, welcome to the cryptoworld.  Cheesy

and the 7202 first blocks are for the chain movement while the ico is running

I have a radeon r9 290. At a test on a nist5 pool it gives me 7.9 mh on the talkcoinminer (sgminer).
Can I expect more with an other miner or different settings?
powertune 20, engine 1043, mem 1500, threadconcurency 8512, g 1, w 512, i 20, lookup gap 0

Try this
http://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/298gqc/greenpool_x11_amd_144146_drivers_trick_for_extra/

Got my r9 270x from 5mh to 8.6!!!

I´ve tried this. But which kernel to use for icebergcoin? nist5 wasn´t in so I copied it to the folder but I only
get errors (share is above target) and rejected shares

Im having the same problem....any help?

sorry peeps was at work use algo talkcoin-mod

I'm using this sgminer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.0

Grin Grin yeah 15.3 mh   Cheesy Cheesy super tipp. thanks a lot. Settings same as above, but sgminer 5.0 pre release. I love it

So what the heck is wrong with mine....talkcoin sgminer I am getting 8.3 mhs with my 290x with same settings on sgminer 5 i get <3.

People, I am missing something?
First 7200 blocks have ZERO reward. Block time is 60 seconds, that means first 5 days of mining with zero reward?
Total POW block count is 17000 but this is more than 7 days of POW as stated in the OP. If POS starts before this block then the total number of POW coins will be lass than 5mln.
On top of that crap the dev sold his 20% premine already for 100BTC and everybody is happy?

I took sgminer from here https://nicehash.com/software/#sgminer . Change threadconcurency to 15552 (if it not works start with 8192 and add 64 each time till it don´t starts, then 1 step back. lookup gap for me is 0. Powertune +20. Intensity for me highest is 20. But the 290x is different, try 20 first and then rise. The rest in your config seems ok to me.
edit
oh, i forgot memory 1500mhz and engine 1054. I don´t know exactly what you need for the 2 gpus in your 290x. You have to test (watch temprature)
2nd edit
I just tried the new 14.7rc1. Seems to work good with this miner Grin

And? This just means that there will be a launch otherwise dev will not get his 100 BTC. The dev will be gone after this launch. Obviously, he doesn't care about anything else. If Bittrex were to keep his 100 BTC premine for 1 year I would see the point otherwise this is just laughable.
When other devs sell their 1-5% premine after actually trying to achieve something the coin is ready for the grave, yet somehow Icebergcoin dev managed to pull 100 BTC premine sale and people still hope for the best. This is true magic!

We are happy to announce an agreement with Undergroundpool.
Undergroundpool will donate 0.5% of its fee to Icebergcoin Team to support our project. Thus, we encourage people to move their miners to Undergroundpool and help us in this new journey

We want to emphasize that Icebergcoin Team does not have any kind of relationship with UndergroundPool. And we encourage other pools to follow the footsteps of UndergroundPool.

Greetings

http://undergroundpool.me/

Thanks for all!

We are working to have everything running on launch. At the moment, we are doing test with talkcoin with NIST5. If you are interested in optimize your rig you can mine now in our pool.

An example of Nist5 Conf  to mine in our pool
Code:
C:\Users\x\Desktop\talkcoinminer\sgminer.exe -k talkcoin -o stratum+tcp://undergroundpool.me:3110 -u (WALLET TALKCOIN) -p 1 -I 20 -w 256 -g 1

The fee of our pool is 1%. The 50% of that fee will go to Icebergcoin Team to support they proyect

Wow trying my rigs there  Grin

+1

All the losers spending all there BTC on rentals will be the scam of the year once this dev gets his 100BTC for doing nothing at all, just posting messages every now and then.
The only way to stop this madness and to save people's money is to make this launch fail, but I don't know how to do it.

heheh that is a possible scenario, maybe happen or not.
I just want my 30 ICB for signature! Tongue
I'm kinda resisting in taking off my Rig from Multipools to mine NIST5 Smiley

Point your rigs to rental websites, that's the only way to profit from this coin.
The owners will get rich today, the renters will never ever ROI. To much ICO.
