when it launch? countdown?

may not be worth anything by then, someone is dumping 738,000 of them on bittrex right now

"someone" = developer

People just keep getting scam on IPO.
The amount of clueless fudders in this thread is mind boggling. That 738k is what's left of the ICO that hasn't sold and will be destroyed if they don't sell. Go troll somewhere else please.

so people spent thousands of dollars to buy something made out of thin air which will be worth nothing as time goes by. It's mind boggling and i am clueless about this phenomenon
Bitcoin was made out of thin air. What's your point troll?

Bitcoin is a proven commodity.  You do know it took Bitcoin YEARS to be accepted.  People are willing to throw the dev thousands of dollars for an idea, you dont think its a little insane? I do.
You call it insane, I call it investing. As with any investment it takes time. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. That's the nature of the game.

You'll never know what you're living for until you know what you're willing to die for.
Never look back, something might be gaining on you.

Regarding the multipool.  There are not a lot of NIST5 coins available, so how rewarding would the multipool actually be? Is the intent to switch algos?

The World Cup Final is 2 hours before the launch. So if there is no extension in the game, you'll have time for both.

Anyways first blocks will be with 0 or low reward to prevent instamine, so solo-mining will be not very useful.

You can register in one or two mining pools before go to see the match, and let the rig set up to mine Iceberg automatically:

  • - You can just change your NIST5 config, setting up Iceberg mining pools first, and another NIST5 coin mining pool on the last one. You will be mining the other NIST5 coin until Icebergcoins pools get online.
  • - Or just use a software like Cgwatcher and setup a task to mine Iceberg at 21GMT

Good luck Wink

If there is any NIST5 coin profitable after Iceberg, we would like to continue mining a NIST5 coin. This week four more NIST5 coins were born after Iceberg, so we'll see.

Otherwise, we would have to mine another algorithm temporarily.
