It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I've been speaking to Poloniex mods all week and they say that nothing is in the cards for Nav as of yet. I don't want to be a fudder, just stating facts and it pretty much looks like somebody is lying. It takes no grand effort to do the change so what's the deal here?

To the NAV Development Team. Please  Shutdown NAV on Poloniex & Cryptopia . Turn off NAV 1.0

The NAV community has reached its limit and would now like to formally request the servers facilitating the continued operation of NAV 1.0 currently trading on Poloniex and Cryptopia be discontinued. We would like all owners of NAV 1.0 swap their coins immediately to the new block chain via
NAV Coin
http://www.navcoin.org/upgrade

Please advise
Thank You
HaShForce101

Bittrex and Alcurex exchanges are currently running the required New Blockchain NAV 2.0 which we will continue to support along with the NAV Development Team

What's the decision NAV team.

I dont want closing NAV 1 blockchain and stop trading NAV 1.
We lost 2 markets when we stop NAV 1.
Why you think that Poloniex add again new NAV (ver. 2.0) ? If they dont add NAV we lost bigger alt coin market (not chinese).
Maybe better wait some time to decide Poloniex update their NAV's. Some people send tickets or wrote to Poloniex in media. I push in ticket I take answer they trading "oryginal" NAV and if I want I can swap myself. They have the same answer to each one.

And pakage wrote he in contact with this 2 markets so maybe we wait few days to finish talking.

Web wallet is now live!

Dear NAV investors,

We have great news for our coin.

We have been invited to join POS (Proof Of Stake) wallet and now have a live web wallet!

You now have the option to store your Nav Coins in a secure online wallet that grows as it reaps proof of stake rewards, without having to run your own computer with the wallet open in staking mode.

As well proof of stake rewards, NAV investors will gain other advantages including: world wide instant transfers, low transaction fees (1%), extra security, and of course online access to their wallet.

In the next update of the POS wallet, users will be able to download the private keys to their wallet. This will give users unrivaled assurance they can access their coins even if the website is unavailable.

We’d like to send personal thank you to POS wallet for selecting us to be part of their online web wallet.

Have a look at their website:
https://poswallet.com

As always, please be savvy with your valuable investment. Protect your NAV by creating a strong password and downloading your private key when it becomes available. This is a third party service and not developed by the Nav Coin team so please treat it with your usual caution.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Warmest regards,

Nav Coin Development Team

Whats mean 1% fee is "low" for transaction ?
So if somebody have big amount NAV like example 1 000 000 and send to them and after few days send coins back to wallet so he pay 1% fee for sending? usually in wallet its 0.2 NAV fee for send. So 1% from 1 000 000 coin will be 10 000 NAV fee ? How many months need to stake 10 000 NAV ? it have sense or how work this 1% transaction fee ... ?
And I was think online wallet will be only NAV website wallet not on "third party service" ... if its on thirt party service why we wait for it 2 years Huh

Or if somebody have small amount NAV and put it to POS and after send back 1% can be more than he stake in few months ?

Yes we are working on an own wallet. But wanted to publish this also, since this is a staking wallet.
Soopy and me are working on the other web mobile solution.

That is one of the badest points of these webwallets. But these one will update bext time, so you will be able to backup your wallet and therefore you would not loose your coins when they shut down.

The v1 addnodes in the OP don't work for me... I still haven't been able to swap or sell my coins.

-

Add these lines to your %Appdata%navcoin/navcoin.conf

maxconnections=2
connect=95.183.50.58
connect=5.230.142.254

and wipe out any other addnode or connect settings you may have in there.
