A few posts ago I was under the impression that the blockchain was incompatible between OSes. Now I know why I thought so.
The blockchain icon on the front page has tux on it. That icon should go to the linux wallet instead.

And it might be a good idea to put the date on the blockchain zip file name so that we can tell when it was last updated without downloading.
I can see the link but I am not sure of the date right now.

Oh guys stop crying like 10 years old girl..  Understand one thing . Nav isnt only pump&dump coin. You want to buy nav at 200staoshi and after two weeks sell it at 2000satoshi.Then you go searching other coin and in the next two years you buy new ferrari cause you are a milionaire! It's impossible !If it had been so simple everyone would be rich! Navajocoin and  all community is a longterm project !I believe Anon is not the end of the improvements .It's only an elevator which will set us on the top and next development will be just there!

But that elevator have still closed door and noone know what is inside... Nav anon its like Schrödinger's cat, it can be now dead or live, and that ,,elevators" door must be open to know the truth.
Its impossible to reach 10th floor if on first floor you have closed elevator door without any other ways to go up.

I understand your frustration. I have been here since summercoin. I have just learned to ignore it. It would be nice to see Anon, If this coin had a detailed list of when it was coming the coin might not be at 250. Maybe much higher. So you have a chance to buy more and hope or not. Its the risk of the game. Its the only way it can go from 300 range to 1000 + . I do understand the risk and hope it comes soon.

I agree - what we're missing is a roadmap of what's to come in the next few months.
I've got quite some NAV (top 20 on richlist) and invested quite early.
However I do feel that the dev-team is focussing to much on the wallet, and not enough on the 'important' things.
If you'd look at a MoSCoW analysis (assuming they've made one) all the wallet stuff can't be a 'must' but more like a 'should' or 'could' have.

Surely I hope that they're releasing a plan what is to come - because I'm slightly losing trust with all the, in my eyes, non important updates.
Its time for a proper major update, which is not graphic released but pure coin-mechanics related (either anon or something else) otherwise i'll see this coin plummeting even further in the near future.

One thing i do have to admit, the wallet is looking rather funky these days  Cool

Maybe one day we will know the truth. Navajo Code or Anon was "almost" ready to be tested in July. Then the attack and Soopy got sick ....
6 months later still nothing, well plenty wallet updates. I think the very least we deserve is the truth. If Anon wasn't ready that is fine, but we keep on being told is coming, patience, Christmas Presents and all sorts and we are in 2015 and still nothing. If you can't tell the truth better not to say anything imho.

/rant end

I needed to get this out of my chest. Sorry...

I have to say I agree with this!  I like this community and I like soopy, but I don't get this crap either.  Since the early days of summercoin, numerous other coins have come to market with Anon.  It seems like mostly cheer leading in this thread all the time.  I once again got involved with another coin because of soopy, that coin too has been waiting for reply from soopy for many weeks now and has been completely inoperable this whole time.  One should be MUCH more careful with their promises........last post in that thread said give him a few days......weeks later nothing.  Same as with this anon here........VERY frustrating to keep putting your faith in someone you see as a good dude to continuously be fed broken promises!

I think the above comments are reasonable and make valid points.
The devs have proven they don't intend to abandon the coin but this is not enough for it to stand out in what has become a very competitive field (altcoins).

The anon feature can't really have been "near" six months ago when there still no sign of it, despite all the bad circumstances. My guess is that it proved far harder than expected, which really is OK, but needs to be said officially nonetheless.
We haven't had any real info since the white paper, no ETA, not even a checkpoint list of anon parts that are completed or awaiting implementation.

I really cannot blame anyone for running out of patience at this point. The temptation to get out, for those who invested recently and bought low is extremely strong.
Others who invested earlier might be more reluctant because if they get out they will have to consider the whole endeavor a net loss.
In such cases people usually choose to stick it out hoping for a turn around of events.

I completely re-installed my window 8.1 64bit 2.05 wallet last night with the blockchain.zip file and will provide an update tonight on how its running

I had this error this morning and now wallet will not run

Then restarted the wallet 5 times and then it started working again. Smiley
The other 4 times it would go straight to the system tray.

Now its showing syncing 371 blocks.

It seems windows 8.1 64 bit has some small issues and Windows 7 it runs fine.

I can send my debug.log if when required.

The above statements a very interesting and understandable but I can also understand December would have been a bad time to release.

Soopy has made the correct decision and when he releases it going to be big.

People need to remember that this anon is unique, there is a lot of work behind the scenes.
