I looked at the description of the Navajo State of the Art Anonymous Technology, and was wondering can I run my own Magic Gateway and Choctaw Star Gate? And if so, how many of them can I run?

This is a good question and should be addressed if they are decentralized. The WP discribes the nodes as central:

12. Node Maintenance and Security?
Nodes are maintained by the lead developer and secured with DDos Protection
and fail-safe mechanisms

but doesn't do a good job of explaining who or where NMG & CSG reside.

• Are they part of the node? Which per the WP is centralized (operated and maintained by the Dev)
• Are they like DRK masternodes? Which are "decentralized" but mostly reside on central AWS servers.

@illodin From what I can gather from the infographics, you can't operate a NMG or CSG because they are actually part of the node and those are maintained by the Dev (centralized). Correct me if I'm wrong.

EDIT: However (taken from WP)

Navajo Magic Gateway (NMG) & Choctaw Star Gate (CSG)

The NMG and CSG are the most important part of the entire operation
and work in conjunction. They run on an independent subchain and are of
course fully decentralized. The NMG is the decryption mechanism and the
CSG is the gateway back to the main chain.

The NMG receives the encrypted transaction information that only
includes the destination address and the amount, decrypts it, and relays it to
the CSG. The CSG verifies its integrity using a close function technology to
perform a checksum and code signing before broadcasting the final
transaction on to the main chain; sending the coins to its recipient address.

Node Maintenance
The nodes will be decentralized and anyone be able to setup their own
node. In addition to that, we will be setting up our own nodes for everyone. We will
also be including nodes within wallets in a future release.

So I, too, am back to being confused...

Someone dumped 120,000 Navajocoins into my lap with only 9 days untill 1st March  . Im back in the Million NavajoCoin Club top 12 when database updates . What happened! This is freakn awesome. Trading is climbing again .


We should be around the 6000 - 8000 sats mark . Reason BTC value has falling over the past 6 months .
$780 , $550, $320 and now $240


I think the majority of  people bought @ $320 BTC so thats a loss of $80 per BTC . If BTC climbs again then thats a different story

But with my personal trading calculations and drop in BTC .

Someone buying 500,000 NavajoCoin @ $240 BTC
compared to
Someone buying 500,000 NavajoCoin @ $320 BTC
compared to
Someone buying 500,000 NavajoCoin @ $550 BTC

The current real value @3000 stas is around 500 - 600 sats for when you factor in BTC drop

So grab them cheap coins with BTC  @$240

I had that once many months ago - you can try the repair wallet function inside wallet console debug.
This fixed my issue .
currenlty mine shows 20000 NavajoCoins less - ill fix mine tonight

Hello Navajo Investors!

We are now into our 2nd week of Beta testing. Everything is operating as expected. The tests are going smoothly and appear to be consistently processing anonymous transactions without issue.

We are pretty confident by now that the system works. Especially since no one has been able to trace transactions to their end point or find any flaws, even with the bounty up for grabs.

I have started to implement the double encryption layers in testing. It is looking promising and I hope to have a good chunk of this ironed out before the beta test ends.

When the beta test ends, we will analyse the result, assess the system and figure out a timeline of what needs to be worked on before we launch this feature on the main network.

As always, we will try to keep you informed as best as possible with where we are at.

and as i said this big 14btc sell order vanished now. Someone bought low what he could and now we are comming back to the 'normal'

The person was probably trying to force desperate sellers to dump their coins at a lower price, then buy them up quickly after removing his sell order.

Who just dumps 500,000 NAV when NAV ANON is just around the corner?

Wow reading the thread on last nights action! Wow so ture and this close to final project release.

oh well this is good for distribution and volume in the long run . The risk in doing that is you may not get the same amount of coins back if someone has a large amount of BTC ready to buy at the same time . If someone drops that amount on Anon launch night you can kiss your coins good buy as I myself know others will grab them as NavajoCoin will not be the same class of Crypto coin as it is at this time. We are already trading higher then many other cloned copy and paste DRK clones and we aint even ANON yet. So everything looks good for launch.
