Another great update from the NAV team.

I particularly like the concept of NAV Open Alias; I've been waiting forever for someone to develop something like this.

I just noticed something strange.
The NAV wallet has a stake report and it consistently underestimates my stake amounts for every period, like 24h, 7 days etc

I suspected they were low so i counted the stakes myself going through the transactions to confirm it.

Has anyone else noticed something similar?

It turns out the stake amounts reported in the client are including the community fund amount, hence the discrepancy.
It seems community fund is 0.25 NAV on each stake.
Given that most stakes are well below 1.25 NAV, this ends up cutting too much of a percentage, certainly a lot more that 20%.
I get lots of 0.3 to 0.8 stakes daily and a 0.3 stake ends up being 0.05 net amount.
Please make it a percentage on each stake. I have no problem paying my community fund share, but we agreed on a 20% cut and so far this is much more.

I want to ask if there is a minimum recommended amount of coins to put staking, I like PoS coins and I want to buy some NAV coin too, I will probably buy around 1 BTC wich is  something near 15K coins. Is this amount OK and aprox how often I'll be hitting a stake (once a week, once a month..) Thanks!

You should be getting at least one stake per day, probably 2 or even 3. But they will be on average less than 1 nav each.
I would expect between 1 and 2 nav total revenue per day. I am talking about net stake, not including the community fund.

You should know that reported stakes include 0.25 of community fund which is generated along with the stake but the wallet mistakenly reports as part of the stake.
I hope they fix it in the next version.

As the NavCoin Community Fund enters it's final stages of testing we've doubled the bounty for the Community Fund bug bounty programme. If you're able to break the fund and extract unauthorised NAV you can now claim up to 20,000 NAV as reward.

The Community Fund is live on the testnet and the core devs are working on a video tutorial to explain how to test the mechanism if you're unsure of how to participate. Keep an eye out for that, and have a read of the documentation or feel free to ask any questions on how to get involved here.

I wanted to ask the Devs and the Team if it is possible to reserve part of the community fund to improve marketing and make the Coin known to other communities.

NAVcoin is an incredible project, for certain aspects and unique features of its kind, see POS with Age, but really little known and appreciated by the communities and the market ..... it is absurd to stay in the 3 page of CMC.
