New to the POS system... so if I have coins in my desktop wallet that haven't matured yet, do I need to keep my wallet running? I'm assuming in order to stake I only need to keep my wallet running once the coins have actually aged... is that right?
Coin PoS age: Min. 3 days / Max. 9 days / coins stop aging at 15 days Yep, just keep them in your wallet for at least 3 days to mature, then they will start to Stake. You don't have to have your wallet open 24/7 to Stake; just open it and Stake every now and then. If you send any coins out/in to the wallet, then those coins will have to mature again for 3 days once back in the wallet.

Wallet not syncing
Backup wallet.dat and get a new wallet. make sure you have v1.0.2.1 tried every possible solution, still not getting further than block 5810 My wallet doesn't completely sync any advice would be helpful?
Thanks
- Close the wallet. - Go to: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\StealthCoin - Delete the following files: blk0001.dat, .lock, blkindex.dat - Make sure you always backup your wallet.dat file If you follow these steps and restart your wallet after, it should sync. Edit: Make sure you have version 1.0.2.1, if not you can download it on the OP

Wallet not syncing
I had trouble getting mine to sync. You can try deleting the blockchain and restarting. You have to be extremely patient, syncing is slow and the "blocks remaining" count seemed buggy - Exit Stealtcoin wallet - run: %AppData% - Open StealthCoin folder - delete blk0001.dat & blkindex.dat - restart Stealthcoin wallet - walk away from your computer and go do something else for a couple hours - repeat steps if wallet is still stuck after a couple hours

But only with a new wallet thus far. Trying with my old wallet now.. Maybe this will solve for you too
Anyone else having trouble getting wallet to sync?
It's stuck and the number of blocks remaining seems to jump up and down randomly.
Yeah sure its my fault, but I have 56k coins stuck in stake on 1.0.0.1.. When I try to update and delete block index, but keep wallet.dat, It only gives me the coins that are not in stake. My stake becomes 0. you need to: step 1: open console step 2: dumpprivkey <address> for each address you have, be sure to write this down. step 3: close xst-qt, goto appdata, back up wallet.dat to a safe location, delete everything in the folder. step 4: make sure you are on v 1.0.2.1 step 5: open qt, may take a little to find nodes, since we cleared tor folder in step 3 it has to do the full re-init of the tor network. step 6: open console. type importprivkey <privatekeyfromstep2> for each key you got in step 2 step 7: wait for sync and watch your coins come back.

when try to sync, can not overcome 5810 block? any advice? thanks dont do anything except: close the wallet - delete blk0001.dat & blkindex.dat In your folder: user/administration/appdata/roaming/stealthcoin or something like that and restart the wallet and let it sync! never delete your wallet.dat!
