Is that just because you don't want to reship it once it comes to you?

That and because the buyer is in the EU so it would save on taxes by shipping from technobit.

That and because the buyer is in the EU so it would save on taxes by shipping from technobit.

Technobit is getting vaguer and vaguer in his replies. A week ago, it was "will ship by Monday or Tuesday", now it is "we are doing the best we can" without replying to the question of can you ship by next Wednesday. It will be a full six weeks on Wednesday since Technobit received the chips. It's time to stop stalling and start shipping.

I imagine he's waiting on Marto resolving his production problems with the substandard components that he mentioned.

I have not received any offers, so I guess $250 is too high. I'll just send them on to sidehack for hosting and hope for the best.

Actually... we reevaluated what we could do with the facility we moved into (somehow my initial math was wrong) and came up with that we could only run about 50KW instead of the 80KW we were planning for, which means that we filled up faster than was expected. Possibly a bit over capacity but that can be dealt with. I've got space reserved for about 40 minion boards coming in but that was eaten up by earlier customers. I'm sorry to have to say it dude, but there's no more room at the inn.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!

This is pretty crappy when I was one of the first people to contact you to reserve space. You could have PMed me instead of posting it like this.

Yeah sorry, I checked back in the PM records and you were pretty early on. One of the very first people I talked to about space popped in last week and claimed my last 10KW which was certainly unexpected. Couple that with having to lower our capacity by 35% and the disorganization of an 80-hour week manufacturing, an 80-hour week moving and another 80-hour week manufacturing, and all I can do is apologize that I dropped the ball.
The only people I'm able to reserve space for now are the guy that paid down to allow us to actually build the hosting side, and the guy that already shipped all the parts required to finish out and fire up his boards.

So, to stay on topic, once our orders through Minersource are converted to chips, when will actual refunding of payed x1/x3 shipping costs and payed compensation psu's for x1/x3 units, start? Don't say write to support, their July promised cheque was never sent, and update requests are ignored for weeks now.

Do we have any updates as to when the batch 1 stuff will be shipping out?  I'm going to have limited internet access for the next few days,  and I don't want to miss paying for shipping.

Don't you think that is a bit hypocritical considering you advertise your company in every semi-relevant thread?

It would also be nice if you could transfer my order which I, the buyer, and escrow have been patiently waiting for 11 days now.

Edit: Got a response from bob, apparently he's waiting on marto which I can understand considering he must be pretty busy.

They won't be useless.  You can apparently downclock a minion so that it gets 1gh at .5 watts.  Or basically around half of what you are running it here.  (If Black Arrow is to be believed anyway)   At that point, you're operating at a very good efficiency and can drag out the mining for quite some time, depending on where the difficulty goes.  If the difficulty rises too much, almost every miner out there will have to be switched off unless they get free electricity.

I'm not saying this is ideal, to operate it at half speed and only earn a handful of dollars, but just letting you know that you have some options to keep in the mining with these things if you lower the speed.

Marto.. update please.. Over 6 weeks now Sad

Its one thing to be late.. but this is getting out of hand. Its not like your holding 20+th/s a sec or anything. That is just me. No telling how many others were in GB 1. This aint looking good man. I requested you keep us updated, and since then not a peep. I am hitting a wall. I paid on paypal and lord knows I do not want to reverse this charge, but you are going over. Luckily my cc covers me over that date.

We need a serious update man.. shit looking slim here stateside.

Hi,
Again we had a trouble with components and rechecking every single board.
Sorry for that
When it is ready the boards will be shipped out.
I'm not going to make "Jody's Blog " here.
We are not inside the terms of the deal so you do not need to do CC reversal, just ask for refund and it will be done in 2 business hours and your chips are going to be shipped out @ your desired location.
I do not like how it all sounds in your post.
I'm sorry for the delay and we are making all possible to speed things out.

Best Martin

Well I simply asked for an update.. that is one. Let me ask you this though. How have you delivered so many boards, and just now hit a problem...

I understand you are overwhelmed, but I ask how your 2-4 week became 6 and no indication of shipping...

Marto.. My questions are vain as many of us have too much money involved in these and there are but a few posting pics. Why were the pics strong till we sent the chips? Why were the boards fine till this GB?

I think I explained this we had 10 good pre-production boards.
And then when production started troubled ones. It took us more than a week to find the problem - bad MCU chips batch. Since then we are exchanging them with new delivery batch and testing, simple as that.
Anyway again as far we are in violation of the deal terms you are free to go off and get a refund
