It's almost certain I will moderate the ANN, but, please give me a show of hands by replying

BTW coins are moving to ICO's wallet atm..

example:

http://viacoinexplorer.com/address/Vqh1Rxf7N1giAZqWLsHFHGTKTbxSQSazKC

here we go guys!

I don't know. Is that the real block chain? That is block 3660, but there are no mined coins in it. If it was the real block chain there would have been 10 coins generated, right?

Wrong. http://blog.viacoin.org/2014/07/14/network-launch-update.html
Mining rewards remain at 0 until we launch publicly after which there will be something like 2000 blocks more of 0 rewards. "something like" is a pretty vague term meaning 2000ish, probably some more.

A moderate thread would allow trolls to comment, just not to overrun by repeating the same thing over and over, nor to make baseless accusations.

Trolls are necessary, a bit like needing some bacteria in the stomach for healthy digestion.

It's not fixed until released because after that point it cannot be changed. Better to have flexibility until we release the dogs as it were.

cool. Is there an RSS feed for the blog? I don't see an RSS link and one isn't being discovered by my browser. Adding an RSS discovery rel link is pretty simple.

Its merge mined not sure u guys know the implicTions of that for mining. Mining wont get you many coins lets put it that way.

Is this true? Because all I have read is this:

"As a scrypt coin we could always take advantage of merged mining in the future. That is why we chose scrypt
because there is a lot of hash power available."

Merged mining is dangerous for new coins. No?

Correct. The coin is not merge minable. I said being scrypt, we could take advantage in the future if it made sense.
I thought it was cloned from united coin which was scrypt merge mined? First post says its merge mined? You turned it off? Maybe it makes sense to enable it at block x months from now to give miners a chance.. and not at a whim later on. The earlier thr roadmap is released the more confidence investors will have in the direction and leadership.

Something like this in the head:

Code:
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS"
      href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheRssBlog">

Of course, the href should resolve to the RSS feed uri that contains the XML.

No I said we *could* use merged mining in the future if it made sense. Booting a coin on merged mining is pretty dangerous.

Sup,

+1 on moderation,

and i super hate being moderated, but bitcointalk has went downhill so bad. so we need moderation, if not just to stop the re repeat trolls who i guess live here now. i hope there is a place in the future like Bitcointalk used to be. were we could talk like adults and have normal converstations, but that time is over.
