The wallet makes mining extremely user friendly. If you guys could add options to mine other coins. More people would download the wallet and take a loot at Aidbit. It would also give the impression that you guys interested in helping crypto along with a nuke PR boost. It could also attract many more users who want to mine but lack the technical knowledge to mine. A sizeable amount of these new users would become involved with Aidbit. This would also add to the credibility of Aidbit.

The idea may be sound, but realization unfortunately not that much. Our mining tools take the address directly from the wallet and pools pay to the same address/wallet. What you're proposing would require merged wallets, which would complicate things beyond the level of acceptance (on both sides). Actually, ordinary people can mine AidBit and later exchange it to whatever currency they wish. What we're trying to do is to make a door for ordinary people to enter crypto-currency world and we think merged mining would just complicate things too much. Most of the people know vaguely about Bitcoin, so introducing them to 10 new currencies at the same time would just make them turn away.

Thank you,

AidBit

NOTICE: We have temporarily reverted back to grs-sgminer v1.3.1, due to reported issues with v1.4.0.
If you're not getting any accepted shares, please reinstall latest AidBit Wallet.

We will look into the issue.

Is there a problem with staking? Or do I have to manually stake my coins?

Quoted from Avast forum on FileRepMetagen:
Avast is considering the age of the file the amount of computers where the file was run on the status of the digital signature the URL
where it comes from and the prevelance of the file.

For the time being please use good AV like Microsoft Security Essentials, or add an exception. l'll add digital signature, shortly.

Minimum coin stake age is 7 days. Just unlock the wallet for staking and let it run.
We extended the POS target space, so there are 10 times less POS blocks created and it can take a while before you stake.

Cheers,

V.

It is actually better to keep just the relevant info in the ANN topic.
We could easily pay people to fill-up our ANN topic or fill it up ourselves but I am strictly against it!
As already said numerous times, we're here to stay! Smiley
