Release date: 11PM EST, 18th July 2014 / No premine* Crypto-currency InformationIt seems that in the last few years crypto-currency industry lost its way. It is becoming more and more distant from its main audience, more and more centralized and self-sufficient. Premines, instamines, silent launches and greed are plaguing digital currencies from the very beginnings. Why AidBit? We will put all our efforts into bringing the digital currency back to its roots, back to the original idea and back to the people. We rethought everything, from intelligent installer, energy efficient ASIC resistant encryption algorithm, through to self-adjusting block reward system. We’ve created automatic user friendly mining control software and built it directly into the Windows wallet. And this is only the beginning... With its humanitarian notion, AidBit will go one step further. 10% of every block reward will go to a special charity account. Even if you don’t make millions, you will help making the world a better place. And this is the basic idea behind the humanitarian part of AidBit. In time, AidBit will expand its humanitarian endeavors by joining various humanitarian organizations and providing them with support and with new means of funding. Specifications- Hybrid POW/POS design
- Secure and energy efficient encryption algorithm (Groestl) – 50% less energy consumption, 30% lower temperature
- Efficient CPU/GPU mining
- Difficulty based block reward according to: ceil(8 * dDiff / (525600 + nHeight) * 525600)
Block reward scaling factor on 12 month periods - Block generation: 1 minute
- 10% of each block reward goes to a special charity account
- No premine* (3% of each block reward goes to developers) – To provide stable backbone on launch, (pools, block explorers, website integration, etc...), due to the system's design, a few hours premine at diff 1 may be necessary. Every coin premined will go to charity.
- Stake minimum age: 7 days
- Stake annual interest: (1st year: 20%, 2nd year: 10%, 3d year: 5%, from 4th year: 3%)
_________________________________________________ Wallet*
- Intelligent installer
+ Uninstalls previous version + Blockchain pre-loading + Blockchain repair + Prepares the system environment and mining tools + Allows installing with or without elevated privileges - Easy-to-use automatic mining control system:
+ Automatic detection of system hardware + One click mining + Automatic mining software fallback control + Pool randomization - New version notification and external pool control

Just Premine 3%
It sure would be easier, but we really don't like the idea on so many levels.

This seems pretty fresh! Good work. Keep pushing forward P.S What are your plans for keeping the premine transparent so that your claim for donating it all to charity is kept not only on the words basis? Cheers

This seems pretty fresh! Good work. Keep pushing forward P.S What are your plans for keeping the premine transparent so that your claim for donating it all to charity is kept not only on the words basis? Cheers Actually, the premine will be next to non-existent. We will try to make the "running-in" period as short as possible. Maybe even implement lower reward for first couple of days. Regarding the money created, everything will be transferred to the main public charity account. And because reward is difficulty based, there is nothing to worry about, since we will not exceed diff 1. The plan is to make live web monitor for charity funds, where every transaction, being direct funding of humanitarian organizations in AID or exchange to US$ and later money orders, will be followed and described in detail. Thanks for your questions and support.

hi transparence dev 10+3% what a huge %% :/ what special charity? name etc..... thanks We've given much thought to the subject and transparency will be our highest priority. At launch we will open two »public« accounts, a special charity account, and a foundation account. We will implement live web monitor – a special website for tracking all charity funds, transactions and projects. We understand your concern and we will do our best to make everything as transparent as possible. Thank you

Like the groestl algo, but that premine....c'mon son! Not sure what premine are you talking about? We will have max 2 days running-in period with limited resources - to keep the diff low. There will be 0 premine. Few coins created during running-in period will be transferred to charity account. Charity (10%) and dev (3%) contributions will be created gradually, block by block. This design did complicate lots of low level stuff, but premine was out of the question from the start.

But 13% of total going to some kind of charity' seems a bit high and gives me the chills. We will just have to wait and see i guess. Wish you guys a lot of succes though. Cheers!

Maybe dev - 1% ?
Well, we really think that 3% is quite a reasonable amount. Please don't forget that this is not a premine. Cheers
