Please ban + destroy ill gained coins.

We are talking about a few blocks, it is not a real treat. We will investigate this further when the blockexplorer is ready.

I was watching the Blocks pretty closely now and could not find any "lost blocks" within the last 50 blocks anymore..

lol someone didn't think they were going to get caught

Seems those scammers are looking at the forum, and learnt we caught them.
To the dev, it is not only a few blocks there are 4 missing in 20 blocks, so that is 20%, i think there are a lot bofore i caught it

imo, better to fess up and admit your greedy mistake now than someone figuring that out too. I think the community will be much more forgiving.

they're not, don't worry Smiley

and the Nethash matches up pretty well, so there is also no private pool.

It might be a flaw in the code, a flaw in the pools, a flaw in the wallets or something.. Its just wild guessing, lets see what the block explorer says

What does this maxminers.net warning mean?

Quote
You have exceeded the pools configured REVO warning threshold. Please initiate a transfer!

You can't transfer, duh!

It's just a (MPOS) security warning that pool operators have, so that not so many coins are on their servers. As long as you trust the operator a little bit you can ignore this and initiate a transfer, once you have the wallet. C-CEX (exchange) set RevoCoin up for trading, so you could send it there, but I tried this and it doesn't show up yet. Best strategy right now is probably waiting.

If my memory is right, this coin is sponsored by two chinese guys, one is "provenceday"

they have deleted such info in the op now, just a remind

There is no wallet until the PoW phase is over. Otherwise everyone could just solomine and the 10 MH/s limitation could not be enforced.

"trust the operator"Huh  I don't know them from Adam.  Do I have a good choice?  Looks like I don't.

I have a nasty feeling about this coin and C-Cex not having a proper wallet installed yet. Like the idea of fair hashing though.

fair hashing is what will give a coin it's initial value. larger hashers sell cheaper causing market day trading to occur at lower levels, slowing the growth of the coin. providing it is useful in anyway to anyone that is for anything besides speculation.

see all those buys on c-cex at 100 satoshi? theyd never get filled by anyone besides someone with an IQ of -2 if there is a fair distribution and/or large hash hold their coins longer and allow the market value to grow and stabilize.

They can omit the cpu miner in the initial wallet. Then release a post POW wallet afterwards.

the 3 pool hash rate is very stable at around 1.3 GH, how do the diff change by 80%?

any pointers would be appreciated. my gpu does not do anything beyond this point.

sgminer --algorithm bitblock -o stratum+tcp://revo.suprnova.cc:3777 -u revo1.1 -p x -I 17 -d 1-3 --gpu-platform 0

just heat and no shares

not sure if this is the difference? :  --pool-algorithm bitblock

that made it worse.. now it wont even run.
hey coinler, you get your miner all squared away? I had a bit of a time with a few mining software's this is what finally worked good,,, for me anyways lol

i've also had a look at that.. net hash is stable.. so i think it might be some flaw.. surely no hidden pool or so

I checked the net hash right when the missing blocks were posted and there was about 800 MH/s not account for in the pools.
