sod it build instructions: (modified from the slimcoin thread)

1 - Download and run Cygwin installer: http://cygwin.com/install.html > 'Cygwin Setup' folder on C:

2 - Ensure that you add the following extra packages to the 'default' install from the menu settings window (a few tabs into the install process);

devel / gcc-g++

libs / libcurl-devel

devel / automake

devel / make

archive / unzip

net (web) / wget

devel / git

net (web) / openSSL-devel

Remember to add: "automake: Wrapper scripts for automake and aclocal" - along with the latest auto make release - or miner won't compile.

3. Start the Cygwin terminal from the desktop shortcut you created at install. Now copy and paste the following:

1 line at a time
git clone https://github.com/peoplescurrency/cryptohash_cpuminer

cd cryptohash_cpuminer

chmod +x autogen.sh

./autogen.sh

LIBCURL="-lcurl.dll" ./configure CFLAGS="-O3"

make

then you'll have the exe Wink

How do I launch the miner since it goes to scrypt?

minerd -t 7 -o stratum+tcp://people.suprnova.cc:3674 -u User -p Pass

Edit: I read help file and it was in there.

 ./minerd -a cryptohash -o stratum+tcp://people.suprnova.cc:3674 -u user -p x

Hi, I'm trying to pool mine at your pool now as I'm not finding anything anymore soloing.

I tried using minerd with:

Code:
minerd -a -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://people.suprnova.cc:3674 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword

as stated under the 'Getting started' tab, but it insta-crashes.

Also tried an old CGminer version that supports CPU, but that gets 100% invalid shares.

Any suggestions?

Edit: NVM, need a cryptohash miner.

make a bat file and have "pause" as the last line

minerd -a cryptohash -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://people.suprnova.cc:3674 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword

pause

and see what it says, might also be worth removing -t 6 -s 4 but i'd guess youve tried that

Tried removing the "-t 6 -s 4", didn't try the pause, didn't know you could do that. It says it doesn't have the cryptohash function, because I was dumb enough to just use the old version of minerd that doesn't have cryptohash.

Ok, downloaded the compiled miner, but got an error because a cygintl-8.dll is missing. This one is not in the folder with .dll's. If I can find it somewhere I just have to place it in the same folder as the miner I guess?

OK, found the .dll here: http://dlldown.co/plus/download2.php?aid=71794, put it in the folder, and now get the error message:

"the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application".

50 PPL bounty for the person that can help me get this to work.
