Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

So this shows that this is valid info with regards to GES.

This shows GES indeed is a shell corporation (no "real" office) at least in Hong Kong.

You do know alot if not a majority of offices around the world are rented or leased from the building owners right?

You think companies in the old world trade center owned those offices?

Also look at the description

Product/Service: urea,soja,sugar,rare earth,gold,diamonds,iron ore

Seems like MEI is also involved in transporting goods, including urea. Seems to lend credence to hobopete's dealmakers idea.

solid, you beat me to it.

Do we live in 1920?  With internet and smartphones many companies don't have a physical address other than their own home, which they certainly wouldn't want to be available. You have no right to violate these people's privacy to push your belief. If you still think it's a scam, then don't invest in it. There seem to be so many people trying to present unfounded, counter-intuitive, reasons why this HAS to be some kind of scam. That's what made me investigate for myself. I don't need bonafides on everyone ever involved with this project. If this is a scam, this guy is the greatest con artist ever, because he has influenced some wealthy and powerful people to support his cause. I don't have the kind of connections necessary to do this- I couldn't get an appointment with half of these guys, only a polite canned response written by a bored secretary. GES may be no more than a cell phone and a laptop, but GES, as I stated before, is just the dealmaker. It does not make the product bad just because you don't like the salesman. There are more than enough reputable firms involved to satisfy me this is far too elaborate to be a simple pump and dump.

The only reason I even got involved in this mess was because I was trying to get some basic info and feedback from the community on this coin before buying, and instead ran into 200+ pages of useless infighting. I noticed the method of the spammer (fudder?) is always to create fear and diversion from rational discussion of the subject at hand. When confronted by hard facts and reasonable, logic based questions, they will not provide a rational rebuttal, because they simply cannot. They will then divert the thread by spamming garbage rumors or picking fights, thereby creating an emotional response which provides a great deal of entertainment, but does no good in determining the issue at hand. People love drama. I would really like to go back to shutting the fuck up, which I excel at. Just use some common sense, and it's easy to figure out who is full of shit. Sayonara.

The Internet Detective Squad isn't going to find anything with their mighty googling skills.

The fact of the matter is that the company paying for the first shipment has confirmed it.  This raises the probability of this being a real thing to around 90-95%. You can sit on your 10% doubt if you want, but at this point you're just being irrational about it.

I am new to alt coins can someone explain them to me please

I know lots about BTC and why it is good and saves company's money, is faster, secure, must be minted, just plain easier,  cannot be counterfeited <-- prob the most important reason, and well the list goes on why BTC is great and actually should replace the usd/cad/yen/euro etc etc because of how amazing it really is.

now

1 Uro = 1 Metric Tonne Urea (proven)

so....
what does 1 42coin = ?
what does 1 dogecoin = ?
what does 1 redcoin = ?
what does 1 coffeecoin = ?
what does 1 jugglocoin = ?  (btw how did they even make a coin they do not even know how magnets work)

I could go on for days

It hurts my brain, I understand why bitcoin is good, and should be the main form of money in this world when the usd collapses and it will there is no stopping it the debt ceiling cannot be repaid ever with the interest on it, it is mathematically impossible, and hyper inflation in nearing.

but can someone please explain to me these other alt coins, why are they a good form a money... please explain anyone? I can see why Uro would be a good form of money it is backed by a real commodity and perhaps I can see why people would rather a anoncoin and a faster form of  money travel.. but btc is plenty fast and anon for me.

so why? can someone anyone out there please explain why any of these altcoins exist it seems like 99% of them have no purpose to be honest and I was joking when I said I was new to alt coins I think I have read every ann/whitepaper out there, but yah I am still like  Huh

now people think we should go back to the sliver and gold standard..  which guess who owns it all? (remember those cash for gold commercials left right and center) who do you think was buying it up with fiat? king and queens, bankers, not you!

+ it is kind of bad to have our money supply the same thing we need to use for our technology like in our space computers etc etc.

there is two coins I own, I bet you can guess what two, guess what two make sense for a money supply?

now some of you are going to be like, so what does 1 btc = ?
well the people make the worth of it which makes sense for btc since it is the first and well does everything a real money needs to do, instead of trading to fiat, I have not sold 1 coin for usd or cad, I instead have bought stuff with it, my computer, my laptop, my vaporizer pen, some coffee even and a few other things shirts etc etc.

but why? do these other coins have any value is beyond me, I don`t think I will ever understand... like I understand the people make the value of those coins to.... but why?

^ lol I bet this is how Bohan looked when he was realizing the same thing as me and working on a new coin that made sense

Uro: 1 URO = 1 metric tonne of Urea N46 fertilizer

My post seems to have gone missing for some reason. Let's do it once more...

Not to troll or FUD, but why does a multi-million dollar corporate alliance need donors to come up with (relatively) puny 10BTC to expand their userfrendliness. I'm not a whale and I could only commit 2BTC to a proof of urea purchase and delivery. After all, when (if?) that irrefutable proof comes in I'll make much more on URO. Yet, even to me, 10BTC is not that much...

My train of logic is that even though the 4 companies are backing and supporting URO. They cannot be seen as directly funding it. It is in everyone's interest that URO remains an independent community that is not directly funded by any third party but by the community and it's supporters. This would be very important to get other suppliers to sign on in the future.

Thank you for your correct answer cryptshine. The Uro Foundation is independent from the 4 companies that have ratified the Uro Protocol so far and will continue to remain independent in order to attract more and more commodities firms in the coming months and years. The Uro Foundation has never received any funding from any of the 4 merchants that have so far agreed to accept Uro for Urea purchases under the agreed pegged ratio and under the current structure will never seek funding from other parties for the purpose of running the Foundation itself. We believe this is an important element of neutrality that will benefit Uro greatly in the longer term.

Uro: A Real Long Term Currency, 1 URO = 1 metric tonne of Urea N46 fertilizer[/url]
Urea N46 tracks gradual increases in energy and food prices over the long term.

I hope you know overtime all alt coins will go down in value, it will get to the point were all the money and interest in them fades away and the miners just keep dumping to pay for the hydro bill, not with this coin since it has something backing it up and a very limited amount of coins to be minted unlike others
