I don't have control of the domain name, I am still trying to sort everything out. The project is as good as paused at the moment.

you dont have access to the original website\database or dont have the ability to move the domain to a new host?
if its the latter, why not just "rebrand" and give it a new name? then just put a redirect on the original site to point to the new domain?

Thanks again for handling this toxic cleanup. Probably need it with all the crap flying your way over this.

Should we really give him the scammer tag? That would imply that he could actually pull off a scam while intending to do so.

I think we've had this discussion before with theymos across multiple threads. Terrytibbs got the scammer tag because he sold something that ended up being stolen or something and he claims he wasn't aware and did not take responsibility. Assuming he wasn't aware, does he deserve a scammer tag? And if he is really a scammer, why does paying back later allow the removal of the tag? I got the scammer tag when a douchebag gave my highres artwork source files to the community and instructed them to abuse it simply because he didn't want to communicate with me about a payment not coming on time and I told him I wouldn't pay him. Does that mean I am a scammer? Does it mean I'm not a scammer just because theymos removed the tag when I sent him payment later? Bitscalper ran an anonymous and opaque website with lax security that was abused numerous times at a loss of his clients and was never paid back to this day. Whether or not he's a scammer is not really the question-- whether he's competent to be trusted in any business is the real question, and I think although a real scammer tag might come in handy, we need a tag for "incompetent" as well. I am sure I would have earned it by now, but just the same.

That is a good idea, actually! ..And this tag would obviously stick a lot longer to someone. Ente

Hey hoo!
Go look in the mirror, right now, do it.
Then come back here.
Okay, done?
That guy you saw in the mirror? That was the guy who got scammed. Stop whining about it, you were the one who stuck up for the assholes involved in this rip-off, you embraced them and called the rest of us foolish, when we were telling you from the first word that you were being scammed.
Guess what? You were scammed. Deal with it.

Still fucking waiting. Bitscalper started a ponzi scheme. I called him out publicly after mounds of evidence. Then he makes a shitty arbitrage bot after the fact to try and save his skin. If you're waiting on your money, you're wasting your time. If you're waiting on this community to stop supporting scammers, you're wasting your time. If you're waiting on Bitscalper to be an honest, transparent indiviudal, you're wasting your time. So what are you waiting on anyway?

can not honestly care at all what those 2 pieces of trash wrote between my last message.
@MiningBuddy, in one week I am going to auction off my peice of your debt to the highest bidder. you have been given enough time to sort this out, today it has been one and a half months. I'm cashing out of bitcoin and leaving all of you to rot in your own ill-begotten filth.
