7080 LTS per share for those two obscure coins ? I do not remember seeing such a high share value before this.

Is this lopsided coin distribution somehow related to the new client and the blockchain reset and/or a conflict of interest(s) ? In other words, are you hiding something ?

http://forum.lottoshares.org/topic/11/lottoshares-distribution

Coin distribution is not related to new client or reset. Note, only 80 coins are available for the users to use right away, the 7000 mature over time, starting at the 2 month from launch.

My LTS amounts are unconfirmed.

I transferred them on 7/15 - 7/17?

do you have a transaction ID? Are you transferring them to Bter?

It's about withdrawals from the NHZ AE
These are the transactions sent out to him:

They're of course not on the block explorer, even some of the addresses we paid out to can't be found there any more.

Did you figure out why I am missing those amounts, or I just have to eat up those amounts - due to system growth/maturation?

All balances as at 5313 were maintained - some users are reporting they need to start the software with the -salvagewallet command to recover balances from the first chain.

Ok, finally managed to get the draw numbers to be automatically displayed in the client - like so -

You'll need to wait for testz's new binary.

To see old results, you can start with -reindex=1

Currently each re-start will clear previous results from the display, only displaying new results as they arrive. So it's best for live results at the moment.

This lotto system is alot more like a Keno type game then lottery.  Would it be possible to have a progressive lottery game built in with the current system with a current jackpot amount displayed through the client?  Of course each ticket bought for the jackpot would have to have the same fixed value in such a system.

Yes, I think that's something we'll look at once we've reached a critical mass. Right now we're not selling enough tickets to create a create a jackpot, so the opportunity to win a large amount is provided through fixed-odds betting.

I cannot see a note of the coin supply cap. All 100m were distributed, but what are the limits to mined coins (if any) ?

I don't have problems with peers at 1.0.3 but you can try to add:

addnode=70.131.125.29:6042

Yes, interesting question -

>Block Subsidy: Custom block subsidy (1 to 10 LTS) inversely related to difficulty

This is a market based approach to block subsidy (mined blocks). When the difficulty is high, it means we have sufficient transaction processors (miners), so we offer a low subsidy (1 LTS is the minimum). When the difficult is low, we need to attract more transaction processors, so a higher subsidy is offered (10 LTS maximum). This is in addition to the 1% of ticket sales that transaction processors get.

Each year, we aim for 24 x 24 x 365 ,  210240 blocks.
If we are providing a minimum subsidy, that's 210,240 LTS or about 0.2% inflation
If we are providing a maximum subsidy, that's 2,102,400 LTS or about 2% inflation

The real rate will be somewhere in between, but should be closer to the 0.2% inflation - because remember we are merge mined, so most miners will be mining for the benefit of their primary coin, and see the additional LTS as a bonus.

Also we have deflation, through destroying LTS by playing the lottery. Assuming the 0.2% inflation rate above, to break even, we need to see about 1.4 Million ticket sales per year.

Interesting concept. So there is no absolut maximum.

Interesting concept. So there is no absolut maximum.

2,102,400 additional LTS per year is the theoretical absolute maximum.

But actually any level of inflation indicates a problem.

Deflation - where the total supply is reduced each year is the indicator of success for LottoShares.

No. We're up to 5188.

(5313 was from the old chain)

Think the forking problem was solved with the reset. We've had 0 forks since the reset.
