first of all theres no rationing or reasoning that poloniex has delisted. Ttey have not responded or replied. The team is active, tge tesm is transparent, there may be a reason to why polo has delisted but there is no security issues or wallet issues, scam issues or anything of that nature. The video was released shiwcasing data upload , alias transfer , alias creation, alias encryption, and all the great features that dions brings. We have more volume thn many coins from 10 to 500 btc regularly.

You are right, this is one of the most undervalued altcoins and it is hard to see that IOC is flying under the radar, since 3 years.
I am sure that one day, we will see a mega bull run for IOC.

Screenshot or it's bullshit.  The only thing this "team" has done is literally tweet at exchanges to add them.  It's almost a joke at this point.

Although I agree that the low volume and only one exchange is certainly a problem, exchanges are asking ridicilous amounts of btc to get listed. Rumor is that binance is asking around 100k. Since IOC had no ico and no premine it is pretty hard to get listed anywhere. So maybe instead of trashing the team you would like to donate some btc or at least write some helpful advice or something. Or maybe invest in some other coin which had a premine or ridicilously overpriced ico. Fact is that IOC has some unique features and will probably be recognised in the future as a great investment. Imho ioc is present for quite some time and that gives the investors insurence that the devolpment will continue and will not be abandonded. In the mean time you can stake your coins and receive some nice roi

The "no ico and no premine" meme needs to die.  That's not a good thing, it's the reason the top 100 wallets control over 75% of the IOC in circulation.

Listening to the top wallets beg for donations is an absolute joke.  The total market cap was less than $20,000 in 2015, so I'm sure at least some of the top 100 wallet holders would be willing to pay to get this scam listed on an exchange since they've seen a 1000% increase on their initial investment.  Then again, greed is a factor.

Top wallets control a lot because they bought and hold.   That is why it has continuously gotten harder to buy coins.

Many here have talked about donated to get things done.  This has happened, in spite of Joel not really wanting others to spend their money.  Something you would know if you followed more than casually.

The "no ico and no premine" is a point of pride with this team.  Whether that is ultimately good or bad, only time will tell, but according to your own post, it obviously has not hurt the coin to this point.

Greed is indeed at play.  Stands out clearly when people come here bitching and moaning about what is not happening with the coin and wanting other people to accomplish something so that they can gain the benefit.

So many post where people claim a coin is a "scam', yet they are interested enough to post about it.  So, who is trying to scam who?

IOC is what it is.  The team is working at the pace they can work at, accomplishing what they can accomplish.  It will happen within the timeframe their abilities will allow.  

There are ways to be constructive and help if you truly want to.

If you have the ability to program, volunteer to help.  Costs nothing but time.  If you know how to get coins listed on exchanges, volunteer to help.  If you know how to effectively market a project, volunteer to help.  These would add value.  

If you don't have any of these skills, simply pissing and moaning on the forum does not help.  In fact, it truly brings nothing to the table, except the fact that you want other people to work harder so you can earn the benefits, which brings us back to greed.  We agree on one thing, at least!

The volume continues to slow, down to 6.5 BTC.

Volume now down to 5.7 and IOC lost 50% of it's USD value within the past month.  At this rate, delisting looks imminent.

Wash trading can prop this coin up for only so long.  Bittrex is going to be cleaning house, this coin will be delisted.

Bumping this as a warning to new investors.  Keep in mind over 75% of IOC in circulation belongs to less than 100 wallet addresses. The total market cap for IOC was less than $20,000 a few years ago, which means that it has centralized control, and is not a decentralized cryptocurrency.

Development Update Wallet Mandatory Upgrade

This is the I/O Coin Protocol 60022, Dions-html5 Windows 10 & OSX Sierra 64Bit Wallet-DIONS-APACHE-V5.0.0.0-gfd13958 Ver 80000 Stealth Upgrade

We have been hard at work with the update to our stealth addresses. We have now updated the UI and some common routines (UI auto lock has been removed, DIONS expiry has been updated to allow recreation of an expired alias, backward compatibility for orange wallet to display DIONs and messages, added shade features, buy iocoin has been removed to allocate space needed for stealth -this will be re integrated at later time with new view).

Because stealth addresses have a new framework, the new updated UI will display a message that will check for backward compatibility. Once the user sees this message, in order to upgrade to shade, the user will follow a 2 step process in order to upgrade.

Wallet Apache Installation instructions
Do a full backup press ESC and do a command DUMPWALLET + file location "example" DUMPWALLET /Users/COCO/Desktop/IOCWallet.txt this should make a file with your private keys. Now close wallet and daemon, do an entire folder backup of where the wallet.dat lives that contains the blockchain files (Full BackUp) for extra safety we recommend 2 backups to 2 different places USB and Folder. Install New wallet over the existing one and run. Here you will see a message top right (Your wallet version is 60000, to use shade and latest features you must upgrade your wallet to latest version.) Once you see this message, close your wallet and make sure daemon is also shutdown.

Open Terminal (OSX) or CMD (W10) to initiate the upgrade. Type iocoind --datadir=(location of wallet folder containing the wallet.dat) -upgradewallet then press enter. Wait for it to upgrade your wallet.dat and launch the wallet. You can open debug.log to verify is done, process should take no longer than a few minutes. DONE

Example:

OSX it would be iocoind --datadir=/Users/COCO/Documents/IOCOIN -upgradewallet (press enter)

CMD (Windows) (command line) to initiate the upgrade, C:\Program Files (x86)\DIONS HTML5 Wallet iocoind.exe --datadir=c:\users\wallet-folder-location -upgradewallet (press enter)


C:\Program Files (x86)\DIONS HTML5 Wallet> , you need to start at c: (cd.. "enter" cd.. "enter"...) type cd program files (x86) "enter". cd dions html5 wallet "enter"

then:
iocoind.exe --datadir=c:\walletfolderlocation -upgradewallet


wait a 1 minute or 2 an open the wallet ui by launching the wallet icon
unlock for staking. Once you run this command in terminal it will upgrade the wallet to the new shade/stealth address framework. If upgraded successfully Message should be gone. We have set a block for shade to go live, this will give time for our users to fully upgrade to the new framework in order for the shade payments to be mined. This is to ensure our users have enough time to upgrade to latest version. Always test send 1 ioc.

Shade/ Stealth will be available to exchanges only if exchanges decide to upgrade to stealth. If not they will be available between users that have upgraded. Regular ioc sends and receive will be as usual.

To backup your wallets after the upgrade make sure to run ESC DUMPWALLET and DUMPWALLETRT in addition to wallet.dat to ensure you have full backups save to 2 different locations

BEFORE INSTALLING THIS WALLET MAKE SURE TO RETRIEVE YOUR PRIVATE KEYS AND STORE IN A SECURE LOCATION.
DO THIS IN ORANGE WALLET BY PRESSING ESC DUMPWALLET File location .txt

Please Keep DIONS Alias creation in wallet to a maximum of 3 per wallet.dat... Headless has more wider upper limit per wallet.dat we tested up to 100

Full Blockchain Files included up to block 1860075.... We recommend using bootstrap if is a new sync if not it could take up to 2 days to be fully synced. Full Blockchain files bootstrap take around 15 to 20 minutes to fully sync.

If your balance is not displaying properly press ESC then repairwallet

Please remember this is a mandatory update, if you send coins to bittrex or anyone from the old protocol wallets 60015, 60016, 60017, 60018, 60019, 60020.

60021 has not been banned but for precaution, please wait to send to bittrex or back to wallets after a successful upgrade to ensure safety of your coins. Always send 1 ioc as test to ensure proper receive during upgrade times.
