This is just a thought I a will admit that their is no evidence of this idea. But their are a lot of people that want a world war. Perhaps this was done by some idiots that want the war to expand and bring about the rapture faster.
And right on cue, stupid-ass John McCain jumps into the fray - talking about the US sending arms in. We don't even know for sure that this airliner was shot down as opposed to crashing because of other problems. STFU, McCain. Why can't the knee-jerk conservatives ever learn to get the facts FIRST? McCain needs to be tucked away in a home somewhere before he hurts himself. I've always thought he was unhinged but he's getting worse. You know, I don't care for McCain, but insofar as his non physical stature, he makes Obama look like a garden gnome.McCain reminds me of the lead character in the Arthur Miller play Death of a Salesman.

And Ukraine blames the Russians. So? Let's wait and learn the truth. And I agree, Obama should remain silent until proof of fault is found.
Firstly, US officials should to say sorry for having downed an Iranian passenger jet in the 80's. Only after that they will have a right to say anything.

It was suggested that the heat seeking missles go for the largest target so if the rebels/Russians had targeted a smaller military plane the missile may have gone after the larger commercial plane without any way of stopping it.
Buk rocket uses semi-active radar homing, not infrared. Meaning that the target must be actively tracked and illuminated by ground radar all the way until the impact. It's not fire-and-forget weapon.

This is the sort of thing than can start a major war.Rebels fighting against Ukraine and supplied by Russia are the suspects. Bodies reported all over the ground for miles. What a tragedy. But how can Russia afford to arm the rebels when the country is suffering from crushing sanctions?
The Russian rebels deny they are Russian or funded by Russians and yes, this act by rebels could justify Russia invading Ukraine just like rebels in crimea justified their takeover of crimea and the forced election. It's also possible that it was an accident. Russian insurgents in Ukraine have been firing anti-aircraft missiles at Ukrainian fighter jets, so who knows. But an airliner looks nothing like a fighter jet or even a bomber.Exactly. I suspect that Russia may use the same excuse. We shall see. After all, Obama is no threat. Shot at 33,000 feet in the sky? I don't think this was any accident. The odds would be astronomical. I meant they could have mistaken an airliner for a military jet. At over six miles away, it would be hard to tell the difference. No. The rebels who probably fired it probably did not have adequate training, and could easily have carelessly thought it was a military plane. Proof will be hard to find unless some emails, etc., surface.

It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that the Ukraine forces did the evil deed so they could blame the "rebels".One thing is for sure, I wouldn't travel with Malaysian Airlines.

Firstly Russia should apologize for communism and judge all communist criminal before do international politic. <sarcasm>Firstly USA should apologize and judge all current land owners for wiping 90% of native american population before living there.</sarcasm> If you haven't noticed, we're currently talking about specific cases rather than metaphysical garbage. However, if you really find it's hard to sleep without thinking about leftist movements, well, we can continue then. Sorry to disappoint you, but even Stalin or Ceauşescu were innocent children in comparison with american démocrature. These things are simply incomparable by the number of crimes, victims and acts of aggression. Any attempt to advocate a liberal dictocracy through comparison with moderate communist (as well as any other left-wing) movements is hopeless, it will simply bring you to cognitive dissonance. // went to sleep, maybe we'll have a talk next time

Firstly Russia should apologize for communism and judge all communist criminal before do international politic. Firstly Germany and UK should apologise for installing communism in Russia and plunging it into chaos in 1917. Back on topic, it seems the plane was expected to fall on Russian territory, but was shot prematurely. The way Hillary and Australian Abbot going on about Russia, Russia, Russia... http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/tony-abbott-criticises-russias-response-to-mh17-tragedy-as-deeply-unsatisfactory-20140718-3c6np.htmlPrime Minister Tony Abbott has delivered a blunt warning to Russia it will be shunned by the international community unless it accepts some responsibility for the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crash and backs a fully transparent international investigation into the tragedy.
Mr Abbott said it appeared the plane had been shot down by Russian-backed rebels in Eastern Ukraine and that he was deeply unsatisfied with Russia's attempts to blame Ukraine for the disaster. Also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkTRJgDkNFg

No one's is justifying anything, but to understand the present events you need to know the history. The roots of today's conflict lie in 1917. Now, this is getting off-topic.

None of us were alive by 1917. If we go by seek the roots of any conflict by History we come to find shit enough to justify pretty much anything, it just depends on how deep we dig. No country is a saint, not even Tibet! We have to sort our lives today, not at our grandparents graves.
