anyone else getting double the stale shares their eth proxy is reporting submitted and accepted/rejected?

some quick and dirty forensic work is revealing 3 packets being sent to 139.224.20.191 upon discovery of any share and a packet length of 55 responding shortly thereafter confirming receipt or rejection.

can anyone confirm thats a correct f2pool server?

i'll dive further in to this when time allows, until then any insight may be appreciated.

Another question I have is: If someone in our f2pool finds a block does our cut increase in size? with a pps system are we getting a cut based on how often we leave our miners on? is pps a good payout for someone who leaves their miner on 24/7?

My understanding is that f2pool uses a PPS (Pay Per Share) payout system. This means that you will be paid based on how much mining capacity that you provide to the pool. PPS will eliminate variance as you will be paid the same amount regardless of the pool's luck. I would say that PPS is a good model for individual miners unless they have a substantially sized mining farm so that even with bad luck, they will still find several blocks per day and they have infrastructure in place that will ensure that any found block will get quickly propagated throughout the network.

PPS has the lowest variance and the highest fees.

It is FUD being spread by blockstream because they know that the large Chinese pools are going to block SegWit if blockstream does not merge a HF involving a 2MB+ max block size into core.

He failed to mention that when pools were generating blocks that were 900k+, most nodes were under increased stress due to spam transactions being relayed and a huge backlog of transactions sitting in nodes' mempools.

He was also greatly misrepresenting SPV mining.

Remove Chinese, both Simplified and Traditional, from you browser's language settings. If you use Safari on Mac, you may have to remove them from the Language & Region panel in System Preferences.

I'm on my mobile now. Is there pictures of different flags at top right corner on Mac?  If I remember right you have to pick the uk flag for English.  Been a long time since I frequented this site.  I also coul be thinking of antpool. Not 100% on this.

Just a thought can you email yourself the link to English site from phone to your Mac and open it from their?

Best regards
D57heinz

Edit after checking the site via mobile I see my suggestions won't work.  You'll have to figure out why it thinks your in China maybe.  I think the site must have a half ass idea where your located to be able to feed you proper language.  I don't see any way to change it otherwise an the fact that more than one page exists leads to me think that's it based off location.

I see no flags to change language, and also there is no difference in URLs on a phone and mac. It seems to use some browser settings regarding preferred accepted language that is neither English nor Chinese for me. So same URL will look different.

Antpool is not a choice for me, I mine Ethereum but tired of DwarfPool glitches. Switched to Ethermine for now, but interested to try this one.

Yes this is one pool that has been under the radar mining eth.  But hell they have almost 1/4 the network!!!  700ish gh/s is nothing to sneeze at!   If you get it going let me know how it compares to ether mine I just swapped there myself. Been almost a week no problems whatsoever:). Been happy thus far.  Running 420 MHs getting approx 3.7 ish eth per 26 hours. I set it to the calc at what it said when I started per 24 hours but te diff keeps shooting up.

Best regards

Same here, @ethermine right now. If this pool owner helps with language I might switch. Sure I can use Chinese interface, but still prefer to read without translations.
