I am not trying to fud, but shouldn't the block reward be 2500 after the halving? It seems the block reward is currently 3333.33333333? Am I missing something? http://pes.blockexplorer.cc/chain/Pesa

Seemingly the reward was divided by 1.5 instead of 2.  

I wonder if this means there will be more than 20 million coins.

1-1000       10 million
1001-2000 5 million
2001-3000 3.33 million
3001-4000 ?
4001-5000 ?
5001-6000 ?

There was a fork today at exactly block 2000 which is about a few hours ago. We have since resynced and orphaned all the bad blocks.  We are hashing on the correct chain.

Looking in to the issue now because it's a bit suspect that exactly at block 2000 it forked.  I'm suspecting a bad seed node with a checkpoint or something.

I did small program, output is...

Block 0 - 1000 reward 10000
Block 1000 - 2000 reward 5000
Block 2000 - 3000 reward 3333,333
Block 3000 - 4000 reward 2500
Block 4000 - 5000 reward 2000
Block 5000 - 6000 reward 1666,667
Total coins 24499470


Block reward is 10000 / ((blockHeight / 1000) + 1);

Hi everyone, this is Max and I'm the front end guy for Pesa. I know I've been hard to get a hold of, but I'm here to try and answer a few common questions I've seen. First off, I'm not the main developer for Pesa, instead I do the designs for the wallet and forum. The developer behind the coin would prefer to be anonymous right now as he works on implementing TOR integration.

If you see someone on this account post it's either one of two people, the developer or myself. If you need to get in touch, then the best way will now be through our Twitter account. Hopefully this will reduce the number of PMs we get, though we intend on answering any and all PMs. If you prefer email, then the OP will contain an email you can send emails to.

Pesa has really taken off and while we anticipated it would eventually popularize, we didn't foresee it growing so quickly. Excuse us both if we're a little overwhelmed with the attention.

Can you talk about any other innovative features Pesa will have?  I see that you work with Fibonacci and Jasinlee, is that correct?
