We understand how poorly handled the post wallet updates have been and we know that the cause is not only the developer's absence. His travel was unplanned and for family; we would've delayed launch if we knew about it earlier. We have a backup developer, that we've worked with in the past, who will be taking over his position temporarily
Thank you for your response. Do you have a time frame when this will be fixed? Giving a time frame will give the market confidence.

Any news on a wallet update?
Coin is died, if i can i would send all my 200k to bittrex and sell by current price, but i cant so I am selling wallet.dat with 200k PES for only 0.9 BTC, PM mei'll give you .3 BTC for the wallet.dat Current minimal cost of my wallet on bittrex is 1,6 BTC I think max what i can drop is 0,8 BTC for my wallet - half to bittrex price but if the dev dont fix the wallet then i cant move any coins to bittrex, and if he dont fix the wallet you lose 1.6 btc (current price) ill give you 0.4 btc, it's a bet for both of us no, 0.8 BTC is a final price Possible 0.0 BTC will be the final price if the wallet doesn't get fixed. PESA holders on bittrex have another opinion then why do you want to sell your coins I not agree with PESA holders on bittrex PESA holders on Bittrex are CLEARLY speaking for themselves. Price is holding. New wallet release soon? Price will be going up. Otherwise - the price would be going down. People are holding. That is clear as day - and I don't think can be questioned.
I am holding PESA. All of my PESA is in Bittrex. A lot of it.
I am not selling.
I am waiting. Selling right now would be a silly move. Just my opinion.
StratoAlso holding all my coins. It's not like the coin has been abandoned, Niccolo has replied and explained everything in a timely and hones manner, which is 100x better than 90% of the new releases out there. Uh... no. Max has probably been honest in his explanations ... of that he doesn't have anything to do with the coin at all other than being the Community Manager. He cannot fix the wallet. He cannot fix the block chain. He cannot build a website for PESA. He cannot implement Tor... he just posts stuff, ok? Now, the "developer", that mysterious individual that MUST remain nameless, is travelling, so don't expect any fixes... even if he's capable. He must be travelling by burro, mind you, because it has been more than 24 hours that the wallet and blockchain have been broken and he has not been available. Now, any explanation -as if the aforementioned wasn't red-flaggy enough-, as to why bringing this shit to the market under the current, absolutely unready conditions? Any at all. All of that is assuming that what Max here says is "honest", which requires a quantum leap into common sense disbelief... which brings one to the heart of the matter: Why would you put a single penny of such a shit... situation, when you have dozens of already established coins, with known developers, available at more than attractive prices? thats why i want to sell my coins

thats why i want to sell my coins Maybe, but nobody will "buy" a wallet file copy, since once the network is operative again, you can still pull out your wealthes. It is simply said a non-operation in cryptocurrencies. You cannot sell that. You could merely transfer it's contents - if the network is in proper shape. edit: maybe you could arrange a sale using a physical data carrier, and a contract arranging all risks. get a lawer first

There was a commit to the github that has fixes for the wallets. This update will phase out previous wallets completely. We're currently testing, so if you're capable of compiling and testing for yourself, then we'd like your feedback.

Thank you for keeping us updated NiccoloMac. I can appreciate it must be hard, particularly with all the FUD. It would have been a lot easier for you to stay away from the forum until the updated wallet is released.

I also just put up a website on pesacoin.org. Hopefully it works out until I have more time to make a more detailed one.

compiled, deleted blockchain wallet sync up to block 3666 Is it requirement to delete the old blockchain? Explain "phase out previous wallets completely".

Knowing how markets behave, the dump is more likely first. That does not affect the long term viability either way, but you have to make your decision to buy or sell: there are no certainties.

They will dump, but no when price is so low.. they will wait for rise and MAYBE 1,5-2k will drop, but for sure no everyone in this same moment, so there is possibility that price can defend himself and still rising. There as well is possibility that dev will not fix the wallet.. but everyone who think like that already sell coins.. So no probs price will go up for sure:)

seems dedicated still has disabled payouts on pesa: " Developer miscalculated and decided to stop PoW blocks on 3666 instead of 6000. We upgraded the wallet now and had to back up 26 blocks past 3666. Looks like PoS is not working either on Pesa. This means nobody can make transfers until developer fixes PoS blocks HOWEVER, we are granting our miners the 26 blocks past 3666. We will eat the cost of those. Enjoy " also bittrex is still disabled or am i missing something here
