There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

So what is the consensus of what happened to this coin?

Dev fled without delivering on promises?

You'll be happy to know he's already created hardware for his new coin.

iGotSpots moved on long ago; we've tried to save the coin as best we can.  Things are going smooth, just quiet, for now.  You're on an old thread BTW.

And you are a pumper of crapcoins.

I don't see how that makes you any better of a person than me.

He ditched SPOT for this new one.

So what does that tell you about the new one's chances?

I was just commenting on your post history and how frequently you resort to spreading false information / accusations.  You've just proven me right. Roll Eyes  Continue on if you must...

I think if you look back at the history, iGotSpots put Spots on the back burner for something else he was working on.  It was a payment service called PaySHA.  I don't think it ever went anywhere though.  So, I guess he moved on to where he's at now.  It really doesn't matter at this point...  Aside from launching the coin, and maintaining it for about a year, he has no involvement at this point.
