Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Scrappy Do, block f*ng litecoin port. Or no. Leave only opened spots port for spots wallet. Or you will continuously will find litecoin or others wallets nodes. I wrote three times to iGotSpots and he said that there is no issue, but it has.
Jost block anything except spots port for spots-qt.exe and restart.
I've disabled wallet for three weeks, but now when started wallet - he connected to 2 nodes in 1.5 minutes and start syncing.

I am no dev, but i know my way around coins.
May i kindly ask you to do a dump of your getinfo array here please.
Code:
./spotsd getinfo

as you can see here:
http://coinfreaks.com:7331/
Latest block is :   60806

also a note from what i can tell....
Code:
[u][b]"errors" : "Mandatory upgrade to Litecoin 0.8.5.1+.  https://litecoin.org/upgrade"[/b][/u]

Is just a display error the git hasn't been updated it works fine, it clearly says that on initial post.

Node List:
Code:
addnode=216.56.62.132
addnode=p2pool.org
addnode=coinfreaks.com

That sounds like it will fix it, if its some kind of cross chatter problem, block the port, ban bad IP from node, etc...
If you dump getinfo that would be a help.

I cant work out what you guys are doing wrong, i just build spots again from source on a fresh vps last night, block chain downloaded in under 1hr....
Nothing special in CFG and no extra nodes.... all vanilla... Proof is right there above with that ABE installation...
So if you do what i ask i can help sort this out for you while im online, i am no dev but as you can see the proof is in the pudding.

Dump your getinfo array for anyone having issues after its been running for a hour and ill take a look.

Hrm, i just checked up my wallet there.  The only coins in it are the ones i just started mining again.
The 13 i had before doesnt seem to exist. I am supposed to use the windows wallet on the first page right? Its only connected to 2 nodes at block 60831.

You are up to date mate:
   "blocks" : 60832,

Im not to sure, maybe more info will come to light later.
how did you get 13 coins from mining? The reward is 49, what pool where you using?
"if you mine before its synced you can find blocks that were already found and will be abandoned when that client catches up because someone else already found them"
That is the only way coins could disappear from your wallet.

I want to make it clear, if you think you mined 10k coins in one day , you didnt.
If you start mining before wallet is synced your coins will not be credited.
If you still have missing coins, please do this:

-Add, addnode=p2pool to your spots.conf, found in .spots.
-Now backup wallet.dat and spots.conf and remove .spots folder, make a new .spots folder and put those 2 files in it.
 (DONT LOOSE WALLET.DAT)
-Now run spotsd and re download the blocks. Wait 2 hr and do a dump of getinfo array to see what block you are up to
-Confirm your block with latest block on coinfreaks.com:7331

If you solo mined before you where synced you will loose your coins, for those who want to mine, why not mine at p2pool.com....

EDIT: lol did bitcointalk just do down?? and noone thought we would notice Tongue Tongue

SPOTS,

Was just added to http://coinmarketcap.com/spt_30.html

Now would be a good time to buy....
Market cap is still low, it has lots of room to move.

Cause it was added to coinmarketcap.com there was a MASSIVE spike from 100k market cap to 600k, the auto defense code of crypsty picked up on this, and thought it was forked.
its not forked its still on coin-e and the pools and explorers are still fine. Its just a cryptsy problem..... Sad Im with you mate i hope crypsty see there error soon i wanna buy buy buy!!!
Now is perfect time when it is fresh on marketcap Smiley but beauty is its a old coin, its not "new". Deposit your crypto now so you can trade it to SPT's when crypsty is back it will be confirmed so you dont waist time getting in on it Wink

No forks. Everything is still synced: explorer, pools, etc. This is a Cryptsy issue, not a Spots problem

It'll be back up shortly. Just hold tight. I already emailed Paul and PM'ed a few mods on Skype. I'm sure they are working on it as we speak

I told you guys we were busy working on the websites to actually USE them; that's why I've been very inactive on these forums recently. I also told you guys this pump was coming. Butttt like the TIX pump from 30k to over 5.5 million market cap...nobody listened  Wink

Still time to buy as soon as it's back up. It's only going higher. Much. Much higher
